11. [dambed insurance blood suking parasites...quote=mdude,Mar 15 2006, 09:44 PM] the Griso 850 has been on the model charts in Norway since before Christmas, and now even have a set price on it. They excpect it to reach shops in the spring. The 850s exists probably because in some countries you get insanely high insurance rates for bigger bikes, whatever model or make. Especially if you are below 30 (remember that? when we were below 30?). Insurance has become so expensive its actually strangling the market for new bikes in Europe at least. As an example: a 25 year old that tries to register a new Yam R1 in Norway pays in excess of $4600 a year, or 3500 euros... Its like here in Norway, and I also think it is a similar sit in Italy/Germany/France. It is probably also because the Breva 750 have sold quite well to newbie bikers (girls, city commuters), and they expect the Griso to do the same. The international trend is turning to smaller midrange bikes, thats were the big sales are. Sad but true. 82200

 14. [''it was a great weekend pete, pleased to have met you.it was a pity though that there was not a guzzi there to even challenge the bmw which i must admit though gave the 750 belt cam ducati a run for its money.ps i liked your vert looks a real motorcycle workhorse. ciao. gazza .quote=pete roper,Mar 13 2006, 12:14 PM] I snapped a few, mainly of our bike and our pit but I think I've got a few others too. Rob's mate Guy was there having some fun on his V4 Yammie 2 stroke which was a whole load of laughs! After we sorted an annoying self-inflicted ignition problem we had a grand old time. I'll try and post the pic's up on wildguzzi, simply because I think I've figured out how to do that. If anyone wants to link them to here that's fine by me, I'm just too spud-thick to do it! Amazing seeing the Cammies being given the trot by the ES3, (was it the ES3? I was otherwise engaged?) It's amazing what you can do with oddles of cash and a lot of time Good to meet Morris and Mr. Forrest Pete 81936
