I went to the local Autozone looking for an O2 sensor plug -- I was met with blank stares... I grabbed a few random plugs in sizes that I thought might fit... they didn't... so on the next trip I brought the X-over with me... found a plug that fit. No washer... walked over the Home Despot next door and got a washer that fit.

The PC545 is EXACTLY the same size as the OEM battery that I replaced. There should not be any difference in seat/frame/anything BS to deal with... Loosen terminals, remove wires, replace with new battery, fasten - done!

I'm getting ready for a few long trips this fall and even longer ones next year. I'd like to hear (okay - "READ") your opinions -- good, bad and otherwise -- on what the most comfortable, user-friendly and effective "cruise control" type devices are that y'all have been using on the Guzzi. My reason is: long distance highway miles tend to get a few fingers on my throttle hand numb after a while (yes, I already have bar-end weights), and I'd like to be able to take my hand off the controls for short periods of time so I can flex the fingers for a bit to bring them back to life. Agreed re the MG Ti race kit - I would even say that the pipes don't sound aggressive until 4,500 rpm or so. And now with the Mistral X-over, the sound is even sweeter... under hard acceleration from 4,500 to 7,500 on the freeway, and I would think that most car drivers within 100 meters (front and rear) will hear you over their cellphones. Back down at idle, it purrs like a kitten.

I'm planning to install the H+B Juniors (with top case) on the Coppa this week. I know for the mounting brackets to work I have to cut a notch out under the tail section somewhere -- does anyone have photos of "where" that is, or photos (and a write-up) of their install process so I don't have to try to re-invent the wheel? Marcorod- if the x-over is back from the painter, you have probably learned that you needed to put that bracket back on in order to properly secure the x-over... if it isn't back yet... I hope you KEPT the bracket and the bushings! PS: This is a perfect time to buy and install the V11 centerstand. I bought one from Greg Field at MI and installed it at the same time I installed the Mistral x-over. Oh yeah -- Greg also said I could just let the hoses (from the charcoal cannister) hang - no big deal.

Mine is "almost complete." I've gone from OEM exhaust to MG Titanium pipes; OEM x-over to Mistral; thinking seriously of buying Racer X's header down pipes to replace the OEM with that has the worthless front X-over... saving my nickels for the downpipes and the PCIII... then off to the Dyno!

As a matter of fact - yes! I just installed a Mistral X-over last weekend... somebody on wildguzzi posted pics of his new HD that came from the factory (and after dealer "set-up") without exhaust flange bolts on it! It reminded me to double check everything on my exhaust system, so this morning before work I checked, and damned if that front crossover between the head pipes doesn't swing back and forth as you describe. Not sure it is a problem - but I would love to hear if it is, or is not, from somebody who is "in the know" about these things.

I also have the Coppa Italia version of the 2004 Cafe Sport. Love it. Wouldn't trade it for anything. About 6k miles on the clock. In the last 2,000 miles I put on the Ti pipes/chip, Mistral cross-over and a centerstand (the last two were added over this past weekend). The baby growls like you wouldn't believe! I needed the Pete Roper Sloppage sheet due to the oil starvation issue -- easy peezie, and highly recommended. No relays/electrical gremlins yet, and I have been through some serious rain storms. Buy. Ride, smile - repeat!

update- Believe it or not -- after all this. Not a word. No emails, no returned calls, and not even a response to my "dispute" on PayPal. I bumped it up to a "claim". Just silly.
