I’m very thankful for all the generosity and wit by all at the KSR. What a great group! I hope to do it again next year.

That picture looks kind of like a drug deal.

Lets get this ball rolling. I believe it's the weekend after Labor Day. If you don't get invited, just show up. If you don't show up, please make a funny video and post it here.

Sounds to me like someone will be keeping the jackrabbit starts to a minimum but still fully expect some of those famous full throttle uphill climbs.

Glad to hear you and Kathy are ok Bill.

Ahhh yes, my favorite nonevent of the year. Great roads, great sites and great people. Count me in.

Great JRD! The Spine Raid is always a good time.

Those are nice!
So did Nic take the right handers fast and the lefts "normale"?

Did you talk any of those bridge jumpers into making the SSR?
Where is the rear set write up?

I'm not proud of what we had to do to Jake's bike but I am glad he made it home with all the parts he left with.

My MG was in a similar state of disassembly a few days ago. I'm glad to say the problem was resolved and the shake down run went well. I'll be at MJ's Friday morning for the usual tasty breakfast.

Wow, that's good fuel economy! My Sport (40mm Dellorto) usually gets about 40-41mpg. I just recently got 46mpg but was riding with a couple of 500cc Honda singles.
Hi everyone:
I have my bike back on the road now after a gearbox internals swap, new clutch, full service and working on the bike's Keihin FCR jetting. I have attached a few photos below.
I am still fiddling around with the jetting and would like to ask what sort of fuel consumption people are getting from their Sports? I checked and on the highway run (averaging around 100km/hr - 60mph) I was getting 4.65 litres / 100km and 5.47 litres / 100kms in more hilly / backroad riding. I think the bike is still running too lean in the slow fuel jet area and the fuel consumption looks a bit low to me, would be interested to know what other owners get.
Thanks,
Jason

Drum brakes, the original ABS.
They don’t work like 4 pot Brembo brakes. But with the application of the rear brake and a little help from the transmission they get the job done. It takes all 10 fingers and all ten toes for sure.
I was definitely tired after a weekend of trying to keep up with the 1100 and 1200’s.
