  1. Looking for a lower fairing (under engine) for my 2002 LeMans. Let me know...
  2. A photo of my better-half... (for 25 years now)!
  3. So it's more likely to break while in the process of downshifting, as that is when it has the most stress on it? Is it logical to think that if you jammed your downshifts hard every time vs being a light as possible on the shifter that your likelyhood for breakage is more?
  4. I saw and rode a RED Norge last month. It looks nicer and more expensive than the silver.
  5. I have been wondering, but alway forget to askk until I'm out riding. Obviously the Return Sprint in the Transmission is just that, a RETURN spring! My question is... at what point during operation does the spring have the most tension on it? Being in any particular gear create more tension? Is there more tension while your shifting? What's the scoop?

Do an internet search for reviews. I read several recently and they were not that very positive on the Boxer helmet. Roof has just came out with an improved version but it too soon to tell if is has similar concerns.
  7. Eureka!!! I went back and triplechecked.... the rubber does come out! It was simply stuck around and underneath a rim. Boy was it corroded underneath when I removed it! Good thing I got new caps afterall ! THANKS guy !!!!!
  8. Trying to install my new brake & clutch fluid caps... the factory caps have the built-in rubber gland underneath... the new caps do not. Since the rubber cannot be moved (removed) from the factory lids... what do I do now? The new caps at least need a gasket of somesort or they will surely leak. I don't even know as to whether the gland is necessary for operation. HELP !!!

Well... it looks as if I going with An Airoh TR1 from Italy via on-line purchase.
  10. I TOTALLY agree with yo on this one!!! Pea branined Harley riders ride 2500 miles a year max... so it not great loss for them to screw up our fredoms! And they are.. and it's only going to get worse because of them!
  11. I have seen a few bikes on Ebay ect.. that added Piaa driving lights to the fork or front frame area... looked pretty good too. That's the only way your going to significantly increase your lighting!!! I mounted some Hella's to my Touring Bike and WOW you can believe how much light I have now! Better than any car I ever owned. I own the nighttime now!
  12. Thanks.. but I can't interpret Itailian!!! Their site is not very user friendly either.
  13. ahh who wears a watch any longer??? They are soon to be a thing of the past. Everyone now has a cellphone on their hip or in their hand with the EXACT time on it.
  14. Anybody desire these Fin Guards? The price will be very reasonable!
  15. still trying to verify that Ducati & Aprilia pegs fit!
  16. Yes, I now believe that most Ducati and possibly some Aprilia pegs interchange with a Guzzi.
  17. I was referring to an exact hole size & width replacement. The Buell's have a far larger pin hole, and much be reduced in width by grinding. I have installed Buell pegs on bike before. I bought a set of Buell pegs this week before I realized the difference in pin hole size. Now I wish to simply replace factory pegs with aftermarket ones.
  18. What other bikes have the same driver footpeg specs. Same mounting pin hole size and mounting area width? Looking for replacements for my 02 LeMans.

I was referring to Flyin Bryan's ebay store... not Ebay in general.
  20. Several years ago while driving our full size van from NC to Las Vegas, I found a 3/8" x 2 inch bolt sticking in the center of my rear tire. As I was in the middle of nowhere in the Nevada desert when I discovered this, luckily there was a small old tire shop licated behind the filling station where I discovered the bolt. The man there used the ole stickey rope plug and plugged my tire. I continued on to Las Vegas for my stay, then 3800 miles back home thru Utah and the rest. The tire never lost any air!!! And I mean never... as in for the next 2 years until I sold the vehicle. If it works on a bolt hole that large, a small nail is certainly less troublesome.

Thanks for the info. I had visited thier website, and a nice website is was! Not so much worried about the US DOT sticker... since we have so many Harley & Custom riders wearing small cheap & illegal soup bowl helmets, I would be one in tens of thousands whom are not legal. I am familure with this Ebay Store... never bought from them as their shipping prices are at least twice what everyone else's are. Crazy high. Plus, they only have a few lines of main-stream America helmets.
