I know . . . I know!
Let's ask the other inmates on the ward about crazy . . . .
-
I would be performing the Decent Tune-up.

Good points. After, years of use, it's probably a good time to do a thorough inspection on mine.
Is there a recommended procedure to fill the cylinder?
-
So..... now how does the CO come up?
-
There ya go.
-
... the sassy little tart.
That Greenie Attitude comin' out.
And with the proper green bikini to match . . .

What I do not see in your To-Do List:
> Baseline the TPS
> Check/ zero the CO Fuel Trim
> Balance the throttle bodies
> Test/ install a fully charged, correct, battery

Trip odo reset should offer you a tiny knurled knob on the left side of the speedo. Reverse threaded, it is rotated CCW to roll the trip odometer.
If it's missing, shine a light in the hole there and see if there are some bare male threads to latch onto.
Does the trip odometer turn with the miles?
Yes. Turns.
Is there a knob on the left?

Bultaco, Montesa, Ossa? All them is real sickles. Gas-gas? Late comer..
Haha - true that! Like me, I guess . . .

'tacos? Montessa? Gas-Gas?
All good!

Dodged a bullet.
Decided while the MIghty Scura was on the stand, I might as well lube the drive shaft and U joint. Joy joy.
You sure know how to have a good time, buddy!

You have replaced your throttle cable, is this binding somewhere or needs adjusting to let the throttle stay closed properly when idling? When it idles at 1300 try moving the linkage arm under the right hand side throttle body to see if this will slow idle down.
Rob
Good point!
i have recently seen an '02 LeMans hang its throttle rod on the speedometer drive below the right throttle body.

The idle should be higher than 1000 rpm (the manual says 1050, but I prefer a bit higher). The idle is set by performing the tuning sequence. A basic procedure is posted here:

This business of sneaking in Bultacos is highly circumspect on the other hand.

Should you posting something yellow in the "Cars . . . " thread?
No one here cares about old cars...
Oh, you must go to the "Cars . . ." thread. Otherwise, you could start your own "Identify This Car By Only the Front Corner" thread . . .

I'm jealous. You guys are gettin' under my skin with all the gorgeous cockpits.
Too be fair you are rockin' the beer holder.
Right? I'm thinking reinstalling it while my fancy electronic replacements go back-and-forth to Utah . . .
I'm with Scud on liking the all silver on the early bikes, but to each his own. They all look great to me!

You owe a guy named *Chopper* forty-eight-hundred bucks?
Really hoping to hear back from you next week, buddy!

I brought this lower subframe to New York City to serve as art in my hotel room.
There is just something so right about that . . .

Good news!
+1 on what kglm said about the needle bearings. Easy to get to and very likely needs servicing.
What did you do to your V11 today?

I think I've bought three or four of those. Currently, I have my broken "Lever" tucked to the inside of the fasteners.
How about one of you clever, capable chaps shape this piece up out of something equally beautiful but permanently robust?
Paint it green. Zinc chromate, even. We're rabid for anything green . . .
