  1. My bike came w/the K&N setup. I didn't like the noise and reinstalled the factory airbox. You might replace the air filter once every 3 years so don't worry about it .
  2. That's the same place I ended up with.
  3. I think I have found a source for the TPS connector seals . www.customconnectorkits.com Look through til you see the AMP section. I hope this will work w/the price WAY less than $5.00 ea.
  4. OOOhhhh the rod , yeah it will just drop out , put it back in , you're good !
  5. Maybe you dropped piston only . can you reinstall ?
  6. Hmmmm. Explain . did you lose brake fluid too ?
  7. I used a 8mm hex socket & it broke loose w/no trouble. Use a good ratchet & cheater pipe if you need it .
  8. Oh yeah , what are the dates for this pow-wow ?
  9. Is this a form of extortion / kidnapping ? I don't remember us putting the finishing touches on your bike and comparing the Guzzidiag to a TPS reading ? BTW , the SnapOn scanner has a 4 channel scope too !
  10. Art , you are at the right place . Feel free to post as much as you want . Everyone is here to help .
  11. I looked through my box of connectors I gleaned from wiring harnesses through the years and found one Metri-pack that I think you can use the seal . If you want it , I can send it to you ?
  12. Not Weatherhead .....WeatherPack or Metri Pack ....neither style has the seal separately .
  13. It ain't good , whatever it is .
  14. I found nothing either . IDK if the Weatherhead connectors (GM) sell this seal and if it is close enough to interchange and use. If , not , you will just have to buy the connector and use the seal .
  15. Where was this pic taken ?
  16. I didn't like the fact that I had more doors than anyone there & my hands would not cooperate . One thing I can say , we could have changed out wheel bearings (Kale's) , changed oil pan gaskets, clutch job , adjusted valves , synchronized TBs ,replaced swingarm bearings and just about anything else because I can do one thing right . Load a truck up for a service call ! Oh yeah , jump box , battery charger and scanner for overheating vehicles .
  17. BTW , don't drop the screws in the fuel tank when you install the new cap . They are stainless and all the magnets in the world won't stick .
  18. Those Alpina wheels are about as common as dinosaur bones
  19. It seems that this bracket fits the red frame bikes only . I bought two to install on both bikes. The bracket went on the red frame and had frame mounts to bolt to the frame. The black frame would not accept a bracket . I think I sold the spare to someone here .
  20. Docc , you are probably the MVP of this forum for the US.
  21. He** no ! Make sure you have swivel sockets to accomplish this feat !
  22. Now that it has had time to soak in , It was good to hang out w/everyone and meet members , hang out with , talk to socialize with some decent people . I realize it is imperative to go to the next one , the next , the next and the next . Owning this bike would be frustrating w/o you , your input & this website.
  23. If you own a red frame bike , you need one of these brackets PERIOD . I would puke if my trans. case cracked . This is the cure . IMO , there was not a proper radius made or cut into this case to prevent cracking. this stuff is a science all by itself.
  24. I read it . Great book ! Also , Zen & the art of Motorcycle Maintenance by Robert Pirsig . Loved it .
