    R1200S

I should not tell this but i owned a BMW R 1100 RS for few months. In fact only 3 month and 7 500 km. In spirit they are quite similar but the BMW engine is absolutely INEXPRESSIVE compared to the Guzzi one. I precise than unlike most of BMW owners, my bike was equiped with a k&n filter, racing computer and free exhaust (so quite unusual for such kind of bike). And no feeling with this bike and no feeling with the engine. For most of guys who have tryed a liberate 4V engine Guzzi's could not pass to something different. Bmw surely more comfortable than a MGS but definitively less expressive. I own a prototype build with a Ghezzi&Brian frame and with a big bore engine 1225 with same specs or nearly than MGS.
  3. Strange i ride a like MGS road non legal this afternoon Sounds so good to ride Zebulon with beautifull weather Made a little video of ride but the sound is only wind sound
  4. Should rebuild a new run if there is enough people, not only for 1 or 2 sets because it is quite big work. And i will readjust the heigh because it was a mistake when me made the big run and few asking sets after. It was plan to made 1 cm less but i don't understand how me have made such error ... It is not a problem for all the guys with daytona , cetauro or sport ie but for v11 guys, they must just lower a little the triple clamp.
  5. Yes they have a good WP fork (better than Marzoochi one), but i think their WP is a little shorter than V11 fork. Paul could confirm this point.
  6. Repainted zebulon's tank. Searching a superbike ohlins fork for jihem
  7. Just surprised by the fact you have 2 battery ??? There is only one on the daytona rs, the same than v11 one. If the A are not too small (i think not under 8 A) it could run with the only one without too many troubles. On the supertwin with the big bore engine i use a small Ducati 996 battery witch is 33 % smaller than v11 one since 2 years and not problem. It is a 12V 10 A on my bike. Do you have checked if the ground is well fixed to the frame ?

    VITTORIA!!!!!!!

He also won the 2nd race of yesterday
  9. You could do lot of thing with a daytona or even a centauro, just what we have done between Paul and i. I have another proto under process with a 4v engine Not enought time today to tell you lot of thing but i will complete this we the answer

    How's BFG?

Out of topic Here is the French BFG A real bike with a real car engine Build in 1982 only 600 build but you know why while looking at it
  11. it seems to be a kawazaki front fairing, with a ducati supersport tank. Like often the fork is an aprilia factory one, we are several to use this one
  12. Jedione it is for you - Here is giuseppe answer about the pro-thunder : ********************************************** Hello, There are no problem to change the crank in Pro Thunder engine with a Daytona RS crank. When I prepared the Arnold' s bike I had balanced the crank whit a weight of 1472 gr., but I don't know if the American boy change something. The other parts of engine is about the same of MotoGuzzi MGS, so may be possible to find many parts in Guzzi's catalogue,(pistons, cilinder, valve, gasket....). **********************************************
  13. Here was the first release of my SuperTwin proto And now
  14. I replace them on my daytona rs and with a friend we just get crazy to get them out ! They are huge, this is some "double" bearings We also put a lot of heat and i repaint swing arm after removing the bearings. In fact a few water was inside but finaly the bearings was not completly died and i should have leave it inside by turning it of half a turn (remember the travel of swing arm is really reduce, it does not work on more than 25°)
  15. For sale a PVM black 6 spokes fonrt wheel in good condition, use on track few times.
  16. If someone want it, i have a front magnesium black 6 spokes pvm wheel Only to bought the rear wheel from PVM then , like Paul did for his bike It was for another bike project but i have already another set of PVM magnesium for guzzi so that enough in the garage.

    Hmmmmm

For the 5.5 eou could fit some 170 but not less.
  18. zebulon

    Hmmmmm

By the way jihem how much do you paid to replace the front pads ? And how much in the US for the pads Mike or Supertwin1 ?
  19. zebulon

    Hmmmmm

To me , it shoud fit a v11 with few work. Need to change the wheel bearing because G&B use a different size of wheel axle and remove the spacer to replace by the v11 one. But you will still need to buy the inverted brakes from braking after ;o)
  20. For Jens race bike it goes from 152 to 158 depending of undergearbox exhaust with more torque or 2 silencers exhaust with more top end power. I have owned 2 of their tremendous 1225 engine, and a 13xx one is plan for a new rocket prototype, little sister of Zebulon SuperTwin Jens and his racing bikes on the picts

    Winter!!

In Grenoble yesterday 20 cm of pure fresh snow powder. Didnot see a bike out Time for winter projects
  24. My thought is about reliability, a chain is ok for 100 000 km with so few braking chance. Why to put something that could brake easely and need to be replace every 2 or 3 years even if you did 1 000 km in this time !
  25. Paul do you have any idea of how much it cost to replace belt by chain ?
