  1. From a german member and Coppa owner I got a request to put up his OEM exhaust system for sale. It is possible to buy the mufflers separately. Contact him here: unger-landau t-online.de
  2. No, I went from the smaller headlight to a bigger and the brackets aren't interchangeble
  3. Not harsh... the damage was already done! The guy who designed (if you can use that word) the Rune should be hung, drawn and quartered (and fired too) before he can inflict more pain to the eyes off humanity!
  4. Tss tss Alex. We're doing the Bike Of The Month thing for the 17th time now! You never noticed it? http://www.v11lemans.com/forums/index.php?act=home Better lazy than blind*... The BOTM was on the homepage before you wrote this! (* Visually challenged)
  5. BTW, where is Gthyni? Haven't seen him around for a while. Maybe he's snowed in in North Sweden...
  6. Completely forgot... (Fixed my mistake!)
  7. Søren, I added your name to the list! Remember, there's no way back!
  8. Only thing I can think of is "tank suck" Do a search and you'll find lots of info.
  9. The V11 Sport headlight is a Bosch one and can also be found at your BMW dealer
  10. I'd like to be on topic too! How about Chinese hooters?
  11. I just booked the ferry to Newcastle. I leave on Wednesday 16th (my birthday, btw) and return from Newcastle Tuesday 22nd. That way I hope to have some time to check out some sites. An eMail to the inn is also just out. I'm really looking forward to it!

    2007

To all of you best wishes and plenty of troublefree kilometers (or miles for the non-metricists) in 2007! New Years Celebration emoticon sequence:
  13. MGCGB?
  14. I wasn't there, but I've read the article in a bike mag about racing the Scura. It was one of their journalists racing. He was impressed, but seriously competing against Ducs and Aprilalas was not possible.
  15. Jane, congratulations on the Breva! Nice bike and you chose the nicest color! Happy newyear
  16. In Holland too, but I translated it into Pete, so our American friends get the prononciation right. Zwarte Piet translates in to Black Pete
  17. No! As I said, this tradition is 100's of years old and was started when slavery wasn't a problem... therefore it's not very PC! But recently there is a trend towards a more PC St. Nicolaas celebration. Pete is no longer a "servant" but a "helper" or "employee". To give you an idea on how deep this tradition is rooted in Holland: the black Surinam minority celebrate it too!
  18. I'd like to add my best wishes too! To everyone on this forum (writing, reading, moderating) a very merry christmas and a happy and healthy 2007 (with lots of troublefree Guzzi kilometers) BTW, because we don't do X-mas presents (see other topic) I ordered myself a nice set of thread cutters...
  19. We don't do Christmas presents. A lot of dutch and belgian families celebrate St. Nicolaas' birthday on December 5th. But the last few years there is a trend towards gifts at Christmas. A picture of St. Nicolaas and his black helpers, all called Pete: (not very PC, but it's tradition that goes way back)
  20. TLM is a great dealer to visit and has a X-mas show on 27 to 30 december. It's about 1 - 1,5 hr drive from Amsterdam. There is a large Guzzi/Ducati dealer in Amsterdam too: Motortoer For cultural stuff ask Antonio, he used to live there. But to get an idea on Amsterdam's musea: http://www.amsterdam.info/museums/
  21. Very famous in Holland and Belgium: Korfbal - a sort of prehistoric basketbal (with a real basket!) played by mixed teams. The most important reason for it's popularity, I guess. Interested? Check out this YouTube movie: The music is as dorky as the people who play it... BTW, after googling for above image I found out that there many more countries where korfball is played... even in South Africa and New Zealand!
  22. This is what I meant... An idea... why not start a "Global silly sports thread"? I'll start off.
