Thanks! Before the rebuild the bike already produced 91 bhp instead of the standard 79. And that was only with K&N's and Mistral mufflers. I can't guess how much it is now as I haven't been on the bike for 1,5 years. Later this year I will probably take it to HdeB to have it dynoed and remapped properly. Hope to see you on the Italday in Tiel, August 22nd. That's when she makes her "debut"

This afternoon I took her out for her first ride. Great! I was afraid of the seating position, but it's doable, although I wouldn't take her for a +200 km trip. This is how it sounds: A few pics:

Megaphone is home made. The end cone was milled by a specialist with the right equipment.

Exhaust is ready! Great deep sound and definetely not too loud. Just what we were hoping for.

See you on monday! Tomorrow last day of testing, chalk up a few miles on the bike, and then ready for Mettet.

It has been running great with these filters for over 6 years; no need to change.

It's not ready yet. A megaphone type muffler with absorbtion damper will be mounted on the box. Then it should be quiet enough.

The G&B was started for the first time this morning! The custom box exhaust dampens very nicely. Paint is not ready yet... Will be done after the Guzzi track day on July 5th. The stainless steel box exhaust: inlet tubes from a Stucchi x-over. Box design and welding by my brother. Really big outlet pipe (60 mm.)
