    MSG\01...When?

Sorry, but I believe the only racing Jim and Francesco will be doing will be "bench" racing when they are old and haggard waiting for the MGS01. Just my opinion! Zebulons Supertwin kicks some serious ass and with it's "real" OHC motor tweaked to 1225cc. The American "Pro Thunder" we sponsored 2 years ago would kick the MGS01 ass for days! I can't wait 'til a rider drops one of the 3 bikes and tells of the cost to replace the tank as it is welded to the frame-read expensive! We Guzzisti-always waiting......

    MSG\01...When?

You gotta be kidding....here it is "mid" 2004 and I've been told for 2 years the corsa would be released in ???????. So far there's one completed bike which shreds 6-speed gearbox and can't even finish a race!(see albacete). Word of the gearbox problem surfaced in early 2003, you would have thought they would have gotten a handle on this by now, but noooooooo. Know what's funny? Honda and Suzuki can develop a "race" bike from concept to completion in less than a year, take it to the circuits and run the snot out of it for that year without problems. This MGS01 is starting to look like the Harley racebike VR-1000 that in it's 6 year run finished a handful of races. The bike is beautiful to the eye but is hard on MG wallet. If they ever get the program going I'm not racing out to purchase one 'til the bugs are found and squashed! Just my opinion.
  4. Bravo-as an "ex" Californian these photos bring tears to my eyes..I can almost smell the creosote bush from the Furnace Creek photos and the crisp mountain air! Makes me want to be there...NOW. You guys are the lucky to grasp the moment as we all envy your wnaderlust. Ciao-
  5. Yeah, folks just don't know what they're missing and as far as the cost go-what a deal....look at all the quality pieces you get on a bike that you'll keep to put hundreds of thousands of miles on. Nothing like a "better" Moto Guzzi!
  6. I've put 12k miles(20,000 kilos) on my Supertwin and aside from the F.I. relay have had no problems. I ride it hard and usually put 500 miles per weekend on it. The bike gives Ducatis' and Harley fits as they realize their bikes are not as "custom" as they believed. Of note: the right swingarm bushing needs to be beveled in order to "slip" past the transmission output boss in order to grease the inner bushing.
