  1. Through out the years of my transactions I have found one thing that usually takes care of a lot of anxieties on both sides of the table........... Its called facetime where I am and while your verifying the individual you can steer that lens anywhere its needed.

Anyone that has issues with that you always have the option of moving on to the next adventure.   :rasta:

    Works for me.

I narrowed the search for the Nero Corsa as much as CycleTrader would allow and still had to scroll six pages of ads to find it.  The direct link that Twin AH posted three or four posts back is still valid.

I think the image he posted of the nice Legnano Green Sport is a test post of his own V11 using "Copy Image Link."

Pretty sure this one is Not For Sale . . .

That is correct Doc................. A very poor photo of one of my own as a test.

My  :notworthy:  Joe Caruso timing gears and relieved cam bushing came today, one week shipped from the heart of England. I have never received anything packed this well, or dealt with anyone finer than Joe.

    The pieces look awesome! :luigi:

  4. I'm kinda diggen the spokes over factory casts on this one.

And from my vantage point it looks pretty nice and again for the money a lot of machine and they look 10 times better in the flesh IMHO.

( As it has been said before.......... their not making any more )

    Proper photos as well.

Best idea, don't think about it, quarantee to ruin your day.     Can't wait for spring, even gas price mentioned this sommer 12.50 $ a gallon. Go figure, North sea is full of oil.

    Cheers Tom.

Yup same thing up here in the great white north........... capped supplies everywhere.

I think they might all trade in the drilling platforms for strip mining equipment for the production of batteries for these so called pollution free electric thingies.

              Ciao

Oddly, they seem to aim the reader at the later V11 models, but feature a greenie with an aftermarket fairing. There are a few other desirable (to me) models on the list. I look at the old Honda VFRs sometimes, as well as the slab-side Ducati 900SS. I damn near bought an older imported Africa Twin once, the originals were never sold in the US.

I've never really tried to make a profit on motorcycles - just try to enjoy them and maybe break even when I sell the ones I've improved. For Moto Guzzi, I think the Sport and LeMans badges will start to generate more of a premium and the newer models' (late 1980s to early 2000's) values will get pulled up by people who are priced out of the 1970s-early 80s models. For example, my 1989 LeMans 1000 was a fraction of the cost of an early 850 LeMans. If it goes up in value, great. But if it goes down or stays the same, that's fine too, I can still ride it.

I suppose if anyone on this forum has an investment-grade portfolio of V11s it would be Twin AH. @Twin AH maybe we could get some pics of that collection of pristine and unmolested examples? You know, the results of all those "wanted" topics you've posted?

Your a naughty boy Scud and do appreciate you as well as all members in assisting me when possible.

Of all those members as well as others outside of this group I would hope you felt you were treated with courtesy respect and discretion throughout the entire transaction/s.

and ScudI I do appreciate your acknowledgement of my many years of hunting for these machines I desire

But you must know I am a private person with nothing to prove to any one.

If I could ever figure out how to present decent photo representations of these machines one day I would be more than willing to show those who have interest.

Docc;   You know I speak the truth.  ;)

Haha got the original notification docc! I'm still subscribed! As you know I never rode the bike, and sadly sold it many years ago. I never used the paint technique above on my porkchops but I did use it on some computer parts and a set of headphones! Wore them today coincidentally, and it holds up just fine! I think on a motorcycle though, I'd use Eastwood diamond clear or something similar, on top of the faux anodizing paint.

Good to hear from you sir................. I ran across your Utube vid on the V-11 Sport the other day and was wondering what you've been up to.
