“2004” … I should add it to the registry but wasn’t sure which category registry it fits into. Head and tail lights aren’t original anyway. And the forks don’t match (aren’t the Cafè Sports supposed to have gold ohlins?) and I’m not sure the “suspenders” were meant to be red.

That looks original with some accessories

  2. Hello Paul,

I ride a ‘04 Sport and at 6’3” the bike fits me very well.   No two people are alike but with different options to handlebars and lowering pegs I feel you can make the V11 platform fit to your needs.

    Hope that helps

  3. Hello Folks!

My cover was full CF and I have had it installed for awhile now and no issues.

It was much lighter than the aluminum one.  I live on a dirt road and while riding I am not gentle on twisty roads and the finish has held up very nice.

I would strongly suggest you purchase the US sourced one.

Looks great.  Are you able to post a sound clip?  I’m thinking of changing to something similar.

The video doesn’t do it justice.  The sound is very nice from the carbon cans.  I have had Fast by Feracci carbon, MG Ti and regular exhausts and the Exan is at the top for me(fit and finish also). The video was shot when I installed the exhaust and usually keep the db silencers on as I like my ear drums😬.

    Here you go…

  5. *biased opinion

My friend has a 91 900ss and it does feel lighter than the V11 but if I had to chose one it would be the V11.  Both bikes are relatively similar but I would always chose the V11 if I had a choice.  The transmission for me was a big part of that choice (the feel)

Take one for a long twisty ride and let us know how it feels.
