Decided recently to give the 'Sport a new paint job as the tank paint was starting to rub away at the leg scallops. I thought a new colour (color) scheme might be the order of the day. A friend of mine who's a bike painter just finished painting his 916 and said he had some Ducati red left over. So,...here she is.. Have received some very positive feedback, people have said it's improved it dramatically. I personally love it !!!! and an old one for comparison Whatcha think? Its successor however is red (chequered) but with a fairing and a bit of gold. Those clear blue skies and sunshine affect the appearance of the photos for sure. GuzziMoto Posted December 22, 2009 Share Posted December 22, 2009 It's not my bike, and you can certainly paint your bike any color you want, but since you asked for opinions here's mine. Even Ducatis look better in yellow. And there is something "wrong" about painting a Guzzi in Ducati red. And the original maroon was a beautiful color. Not what I would have done.
