aermacchi250
Hi. Does anyone have a RH Handlebar that will fit my 2004 V11 Lemans? I noticed mine was bent after i removed it.I really don't want to spend $212 for Tommaselli clipons, and i'd rather not have to wait 6 weeks. If anyone has one left over from an update, let me know Thanks Mike.
BENOITDUY
Hi Mike, i contact you as I saw your message on the forum about the search for a right hand Tommaselli tube for the handlebar after you noticed it was bent. i have the same problem and I cannot find a replacement part as Guzzi in a does not provide the spare part anymore here in France. i am looking for an alternative or a second hand part. Do you have any idea please ? If any good part available in the US, I am ready to have it shipped to France... Thanks in advance. BENOITDUY
Thank you guys for your advices. I went to a metal workshop pro in my town who put back the tube in its original shape as the bent was not too sharp. But after a while of long search, I finally found an original and never used tube in Italy from a motorcycle spare part shop and I bought it. I preferred to install a new part so that the bike is still in “like new” condition. Thanks anyway
Cabernet
Anyone that knows anything about aluminium and stress raisers would tell you this was a bad idea.
Chuck
Why is that? If it is aluminum, is only bent a little, and can be straightened, I wouldn't be afraid of it.
BENOITDUY
@Cabernet That’s why I preferred to install a brand new tube indeed. The difficulty was mostly to find one ! Edited April 20, 2021 by BENOITDUY Orthographic mistake
