audiomick Posted May 12 Posted May 12 (edited) Incidently, I reckon a potential new owner might be scratching his head trying to figure out where this bit fits onto a V11 Sport. Edited May 12 by audiomick
docc Posted May 13 Posted May 13 I see at least one "leftover" relay . . . Then, I got a cramp in my leg looking at the 14" saddle height above the footpeg . . . 1 1
audiomick Posted May 13 Posted May 13 Ah, hadn't noticed that. In the plastic bag next to that extraneous triple clamp...
Scud Posted May 13 Posted May 13 I don't know why anyone would put that much effort in and not go all the way with it. It needs much longer forks, spoke wheels with no unsightly brake rotors, and elongated shark-fin-tipped dual exhaust (preferably straight pipes without any baffles). I would also hose-clamp a couple highway pegs onto the headers. 1 3

audiomick Posted May 14 Posted May 14 (edited) I just looked her up. Didn't recognise the name immediately, but have seen pictures somewhere sometime in the past. Edited May 14 by audiomick
audiomick Posted May 14 Posted May 14 (edited) Yes, although I would like to qualify that. What I see is not a "monster", but rather a person that looks like she would be rather "care intensive". That is the scary bit. She allegedly had a lot of "beauty operations", which indicates a complicated personality in my book, assuming they were not to correct a "fault". As far as "scary" faces go, I have, so to speak, a bit of practice in that. During my first couple of years in Germany, my girlfriend at the time and I had a flat-mate for a while. He was born in Vietnam, and came to Europe via Switzerland as a war victim. Napalm. Half of his scalp and face was scars, as was most of one arm. The hand on that arm had no fingers anymore. I found myself, at the beginning, conciously looking at him when he was looking in another direction just to get used to the sight of it, so he wouldn't get the feeling I was staring when he was looking at me. He was, incidentally, a really nice bloke, and absolutely no "poor little me" attitude. PS: I believe he was 14 or 15 years old when the injuries happened. Collateral damage, as they say.
