footgoose Posted August 29 Posted August 29 I want to give credit, and a thank you to @v7cafe of https://imgzeit.com/tour and also a member of the forum, for building and maintaining a superb web hosting site. Nothing else like it for simplicity and cost. I use the "direct" posting option of the 3 format options. 1 1

Asked David to post this in larger format, the main side panel has been painted but the small sub panel that bolts to it is original paint and decal so again one can see the slight shade differences that are acceptable to me but perhaps not all. Oops, I should have mentioned that pic is Wgmd's bike and paint, not mine. 2
Wgmd Posted August 29 Author Posted August 29 Final pictures of the finished paint job and to be honest I’m not thrilled, Phil was quite right re colour match. Very pleased with the paint application so will ride it till winter as is and then repaint all of the front fairing come winter. Tail piece is great, should have its decals come Monday. 2
Speedfrog Posted August 29 Posted August 29 You did such a nice job painting the damaged parts, repainting the whole thing should make it perfect. 3
Wgmd Posted Friday at 04:03 PM Author Posted Friday at 04:03 PM Well it's shed time for the Tenni and as stated in my last post it's now time to take corrective action to sort out the front fairing paint. Have ordered the paint, base/clear and the required 3 decals from The Image Works in the UK to re paint the front green fairing, all of it this time!. Have removed the fairing and will prep it shortly, once it's painted will post pictures of the results. Any suggestions or comments are always welcomed 4
Wgmd Posted yesterday at 05:08 PM Author Posted yesterday at 05:08 PM As I'm about to do some major work on my bike was not happy working on it while on a rear stand that had pads that the swing arm rested on as it was quite unstable so I made up this one that pegs into the drilled bolts on the red side plates. Quite pleased as the bike is very stable when its mounted on the stand 3

Since I'm not in a position to build something like that myself, I bought one of these that functions in a very similar manner. And is very stable, as you said of yours. https://shop.becker-technik.de/en/products/central-lifter-24

Lucky Phil Posted 17 hours ago Posted 17 hours ago Here's one of the stands I use on my bike. It engages with the lower engine mount nuts with 2 17mm sockets and is adjustable/telescopes for width to accomplish that. Connect it to the mount nuts tighten the telescoping adjustment lock bolt and use a 1/2 inch knuckle bar to lever it up. Bought it from Germany 5 or 6 years ago. Works very well. 3

I also have something very similar to the red scissor lift und the motor. With that combination, it is possible to do just about any maintanence task. 1
