My image of Moto Guzzi , is of a sport brand, that made it"s name by racing everything they got, Normale 1921, 4cv, sport 14,falcone sport, v8 , v7 sport, lemans etc.

You can live by selling touring and naked bikes, but Guzzi needs at least to honor it"s history and have a special sport bike in production. MGS-01 or something in this direction, with street legal equipment, would be a statement to the heritage of Carlo Guzzi,

and a model that reflects the spirit of Moto Guzzi.

One can hope ^_^

My feeling is that Moto Guzzi may have come to the realization that they are the Harley Davidson of Europe and should capitalize on this by building quirky, throwback models.

It's a business model that has worked for Harley.

Thats great but how do you build brand loyalty when your after sales service is so poor Guzzi's track record is pretty bad in this respect.

...and which models in the current lineup would fall into that category ??? (quirky, throwback models)...

The only thing close is the Cal Vintage. Everything else is a modern BMW rip-off. Definitely not "throwback"...

The current lineup sucks if you're a Sport/LeMans fan like I am...

Give me something along the lines of a Ducati Sport Classic and I'll be happy...

Oh, and the MGS-01, of course...
