I don't know about your "luck" with seals but mine is not good. Having done this a few times I always have a set of seals. If it is a first time project I order 2 of every seal in there. Just seems to be the prudent thing to do.... Just in case Murphy rears his head And be sure to lift the guts out from each side at the same time

Thanks for the link Jorgen. I’ve read the posts stating ‘sounds normal’ and watched a couple of videos where the V11 sounds just like mine, so I’ve decided to live with it and get on to the normal maintenance this bike needs. And hoping Andy replies to post above. Bob

Eh, The la-BOR-a-tory . . .

I decided to keep it simple so as to avoid exceeding my abilities. For those ever important Odyssey voltage checks, it finally struck me that I am a fumble-fingered fool and do not like fiddling around or dropping things. So, a couple of banana plugs, an SAE charging connector, a touch of solder and heat-shrink insulation and I can now plug-n-play to check the voltage.

Miles' "Kind of Blue" is my favorite jazz record from 1959. In 1970 Miles invented fusion with "Bitches Brew" after seeing Hendrix. Miles added electric bass and electric guitar and lots of rhythm to his music. This spawned Herbie Hancock, Weather Report, Mahivishnu, Larry Coryell, Chick Corea, Stanley Clarke, etc, etc. I recently saw documentaries on Miles and Jeff Beck. So if Miles was trying to be Jimi Hendrix with "Bitches Brew", was Jeff Beck trying to be Mile Davis after hearing "Jack Johnson"? Only two cuts on the full album, A side and B side. I just discovered this after watching the Jeff Beck doc. After hearing it, I think it's perhaps the very best of the fusion genre, at least Mile's "Right Off".
