  1. p6x- I would recommend that you get the Gas Buddy app on your phone. That'll show the gas stations and prices along your route. I think the Beeline App will show miles remaining on your phone. But you could also plot out the gas stations on your route as waypoints so they will countdown on the Beeline. And if you are riding a Spine Frame, I'd make sure that I had a gas station within 140 miles of my last fillup. Or for 125 miles for a pee break.

  2. What is bad , Ducati sells superbikes that only a dozen people have any business riding and a credit card devoted to routine maintenance . I don't know if Ducati sells anything tame or a daily rider .

  4. A reputable BMW dealer (for almost 50 years!) in my neck of the woods also is dealer for the 4 Japanese brands (and ZERO electric bikes) BMW forced them to build a mega showroom or at least use the full front shop window for their bikes only. They refused and decided to quit BMW. They still sell them though, and the workshop still has two BMW specialists. They just made a deal with the next BMW dealer. Their new wharehouse staff though... I once asked for a M8 x 40 hex bolt. Their reply: 'What bike and year?'

  5. The steering damper needs to be able to move freely. Any resistance or friction in how it is attached at either end is generally bad. As the handle bars turn, the damper needs to be able to allow for movement in more than a single plane. Because generally the damper isn't perfectly perpendicular to the axis of steering. It is close, but not quite. I would rather have it a little loose than a little tight. I would rather run without it than run it in questionable condition. It really isn't required on a bike with fairly relaxed steering geometry like the V11. On a TZ250, yeah you need one with 22 degrees of rake and not much trail. But a Guzzi isn't nearly that aggressive steering geometry wise.

  6. I saw a view like that in Nevada one time, hoping the one horse gas station in the (far) distance actually had fuel. They did. Regular. Boys peed on the ground out back, girls actually got to use the out house.

  8. I'll bite. Shipping to 16801? Question: What did you use to dye them. I have the v11 tank bag which is the faded purple. Would try to match them. Whatever it is, it better not be the stuff Rudy uses!
