And the prize goes to Shaun! Well done that man! Got the bike out today and had the screech back again. I then noticed that the lights were dimming as soon as I touched the clutch lever along with the screech.... WTF I thought and then saw the poxy starter button was stuck in. The clutch lever switch was engaging the starter! Came back on here to post the update and saw your post!2 points

Download the 2 valve Griso parts manual from This old tractor and cross ref or order the parts you need. Thats what I did. Ciao1 point

The squarer ones like Phil's were used on the Griso and Sport 1200. They use a lead cover and a protective 'Puck' on the two outer, middle rocker cover bolts. The more round rocker covers were used on Bellagio, Breva, Norge and 'Breva Sport 1200' which is an odd parts-bin special. These use a single one piece lead cover.1 point

I read his book, "Ghost Rider". It was a melancholy autobiographical story of grief, Canadian winters, drums, GS Beemers and scotch. And lots of nice people and travel. It was a great book. I tried to read his next book but couldn't get into it.1 point
