  1. I think the only AMA Vintage day I went to was on my W650..(about 5 yrs ago?) I may recall meeting you.. or at least another W650 rider.. You are not the only person with a humiliating picture of me in my pre-guzzi days. In fact, I'm quite proud of all the fact that if you look up "humiliating picture" in the dictionary.. you'll see a picture of me !! And that's not a dare.. if it really is a humiliating photo.. slip it into an envelope with the request for cash and mail it to Martin Barrett Department of Enforcing Things 345 Silly Rules Ave. Look the Other Way, Kent that ok w/ you Martin?
  2. great photos.. I can see the reflection of you taking the shot in the headlight chrome.. When I had my W650 (pre Guzzi) I used to love crossing the bay bridge in the early summer mornings catching the reflection of the bridge towers off the headlight bucket. distracting. but a neat visual.

  6. October 7, 2005 Italy - Piaggio executives say the company's Moto Guzzi brand sold 4,550 motorcycles during the eight-month period from January through August, up from the 4,000 motorcycles retailed during the same period in 2004. However, sales in Italy accounted for 2,200 units. Company officials talked with reporters during the launch of the new Griso 1100 in Milan. "Our objective was selling 5,000 units in 2005 but now we think that we could sell as many as 6,000, said Moto Guzzi CEO Daniele Bandiera. He said he expects the Griso to further increase brand awareness boosted by the company's Breva. Part naked bike and part cruiser, the shaft-driven Griso 1100 is powered by a V-twin. To be made available in black, red, yellow and blue, the bike is scheduled to be available in Europe in October at a cost of Euro 11,990 (approximately $14,700).
  7. FJR I've got the MG Bag on my V11 Sport, and it works well for me.. fits my thinkpad & a few odds 'n sods. When I ride the Tuono I just use the tankbag as a backpack. Cheers, Tim

  10. Lee That's a favourite sunday ride for me.. up 80 to Cherry Glen (pleasant valley) to 128 to some other road that heads south to 80.. Wood something or other.. then home. at the intersection of Pleasant Valley and 128 (or 121) you can head right (east) into Winters which is where the wildguzzi crowd have their 3rd sunday of the month breakfast... Regards, Tim

  23. search on Deathsport ... or Deathrace 2000... not sure he did a pre WW1 movie
  24. I'm 6'2"... Its funny switching from the Tuono to the Guzzi as the Guzzi really feels tiny in comparison. anyway, I think its a combination of my height and the perspective of the photo. Plus we all bought Guzzi's because they make us look huge right?
