  1. Mosten MC; a renowned Danish motorcycle club; recently held their annual Mosten TT Classic Race. Mosten MC is 'UK and US motorcycles only' club which has been around since Christ was a corporal, to say it the army way. Nonetheless, on this 80 pics slideshow you'll see a couple of Japanese bikes amongst Triumphs, Bsa's, Guzzis, Ducatis and what have you. Check out the fab racers here: Told you they looked great, didn't I?? Enjoy Søren
  2. Hi Richard, nice pics, nice weather - what more can you ask for?? Thanks for sharing. PS: It's p....... down here in Denmark right now.... Arghhhhh!!
  3. Hi Crooz See Moscowphil's comments - I can echo that. A PC-III will be an improvement and by using this little gadget you can tweak the engine to (aaaalmoooost) avoiding the flat spot around 3.000 RPMs. A Dynotest - at least in Denmark - is not that expensive so my advice is to cough up with the dole and take the entire Mistral + Dyno package. Just tell your girlfriend/wife that this will make you a happier man! Cheers Søren
  4. It's a jungle out there! Pitty about the bike but glad you got away with the close deer encounter despite the strained ankle. I live in forrest area myself so I know exactly what it's like. Get well soon. Cheers Søren
  5. Hi Crooz Check out Jens Pedersen's shop here in Denmark. It's called Guzzi-Parts and he should have them on the shelf. Martin AKA Mdude is also looking for a pair of TI cans so he checked the Internet. He found out that Guzzi-Parts' prices were ridicously low compared to other shops, so he asked me if I could recomend them. I checked with a couple of guys from the DK Guzzi Club and they praised Jens for his professionalism in business. I know customs and shipping to the States can be a bitch but give it a try. Good luck! Regards Søren PS: Here's the link to the exhaust section: Mistral TI cans. One US Dollar equals approx. 6.50 Danish Kroner so you'll have to cough up with 900 Green Ones. Ciao!
  6. My wife has just put her hands on a brand new Ducati 695 Monster, so I'm trying sweettalking her into joining the gang at the V11 rally. She's a busy bee but she may come along with me. More to come. Ciao Søren
  7. Those guys - and Michael Rutter especially - have grande cojones. There's no room for hickups on a 'track' like this and if you FU you REALLY FU big time. Heck, there's no litterbox or anything, only ditches and brickhouses! Impressive, that's the only way to describe it. Søren
  8. Please accept my condolences. I'm genuine dog lover myself (see avatar - say no more), so I fully understand how you feel. Best regards Søren and Herman the German
  9. Hi Orson Good to see you back on the road again and thanks for sharing your pics. Guzzirider and Kilosjon: If you see a RM in low orbit Mogens just passed you! Don't tell me that I didn't warn you! Emjoy the trip and and keep the tyres on the ground. Søren PS: Guess who's going to Assen, Holland for the Suberbike and Supersport races this weekend? Yeehaah!
  10. What a mighty fine bike, Richard! Remember the days when Steady-Eddie and Fast Freddie were battling..... Nice job, mate! Søren
  11. Well, Herman the German is my beloved dog, so that's my avatar. By the way, my wife also says that I'm a dog so maybe...... Søren
  12. Grüss Gott, I'm going to Assen for the Superbike and Supersport race here on 27 - 29 April. I'm staying at the http://www.hotel-buxus.com/ together with kindred spirits from the Danish Guzzi and Ducati club. Anybody else going? Could be fun to have a beer and a friendly chat in the evenings. Paul, Jaap, Antoinio? Any Britons or Germans coming? Regards Søren PS: Watched the races yesterday on Eurosport. Good to see Danish Supersport rider Robbin (spelled with two B's) Harms take silver after Kenan Sufuoglu. We've got special tickets for the paddock at Assen which includes VIP treatment at Team Stigefeldt (Robbin's crew), full Italian lunch and vino and the lot! Eat your hearts out, signoris!
  13. Indeed it does and what a beauty! Søren
  14. Plug and play? No way in hell!! You only have two wheels and you better trust them at all time. Remembering fixing my old Honda with 'fix-it-foam', worked like shite and was a mess to clean up afterwards. Nail in tyre = new tyre (E=mc2) Søren
  15. Welcome back again, monsieur Sport/Scura May I be so frank to ask why you sold the Scura? Did you have a bad hairday and just decided that today was the day or what? I'm also a big fan of the Sport but I'll still stick to my Scura. Regards Søren

    New Tail Section

That's really smart - and very simple. Wonder why no one has tried this before?? I dunno how strict US MOT is but I know for a fact that this would rev any MOT employee's heartrate up in the red area if I tried this here in Denmark..... Looks great though; thanks for sharing! Cheers Søren
  17. that made my day! Thanks! Søren PS: It's raining cats and dogs today. Yesterday? Oh, it snowed......
  18. Careful, Jim, careful..... We Scuristis have a bad temper, you know!.... BTW, I think it's a CZ (ol' Czech crap two stroke bike), n'est pas? Søren

    Afternoon all

and a also a warm welcome to you, Foxy, from cold Denmark. I wish you many happy miles on your new Guzzi. Best regards Søren
  20. Hi Skeeve, Yup, Norway is a very beautyful country. The only downside is the ridiculous prices for food, fags, brewskis and other necessities. In fact I'm going to Norway in June to do a trip on Trollstien which is on of the most scenic routes one can imagine. The Norwegian language can be troublesome for non-Scandinavians - just think Muppet Show (Swedish Chef)..... Oh, by the way: 'Nye' means 'new'; Yes in Norwegian is 'Ja' (just like in Sweden and Denmark). Wonder what else they taught you up there??.... :-)
  21. well, he's probably hibernating up on the artic circle Luleå where Göran lives is friggin' way up north so Göran possibly has a winter depression rigt now - hell, we even got snow her in Denmark yesterday and everyone is freezing their bits off.... I tried to persuade Mogens AKA 'Rosso Mandello' to join but he's turning 50 (old fart!!) that weekend. Søren
  22. Hi there, it's Norwegian for Christ sake so no wonder you barbarians cannot understand it.... ;-) It's probably a questionaire nicked from the Norwegian Guzzi owner homepage.... Ciao Søren
  23. Howdy! The pictures of Mogens´ bike don't justify how it reallly looks in the flesh: It's absolutely jaw dropping beautyful! Mogens is mental when it comes to polishing i.e. the exhaust system but this doesn't mean that this bike is a trailer queen (bikes that are transported to expo's on a trailer instead of the owner riding it himself). I've had the pleasure of riding with Mogens and I can assure you that he's a hardcore and devoted rider. Going at warp speed on bendy b-roads together with him was quite a challenge as it seems the throtle on his Rosso only has one position..... Oh, did I mention that Mogens is copper?? True..... All in all this bike is a good pick for BOTM and Mogens definitely deserves it! Ciao Søren
  24. Add me to the list, pretty please - it's time to let the Scura smell some wind. Ciao Søren

    Thanks Pete

Hi Steffen, that makes us three Danish Pete Roper slopage thingie owners (you, me and Jens Lyck). I'm having my plate installed in a few weeks time so I can't wait till spring arrives. Good luck with your project. Søren PS: Love your avatar..... (Danish prime minister Anders Fogh Rasmussen)
