  4. It's still for sale! Daytona RS on eBay But I'd rather have this bike!! Laverda spaceframe endurance racer Wow! Two mint bikes, I must say. The Daytona, particularly, looks better than new! Me want one.... Søren
  5. Have dropped Alu-Tank a mail today to hear if they are in business for a fixing a handful of alloy tanks for our beasts. Will post their reply. Tara Søren
  6. These Suzuki girls, are they a fixed ingredient of the V11LeMans meetings now ? Hubert Anything is doable as long as you pay, Hubert.....
  7. holy feck yer an animal! I'm sorry I couldn't make it maybe next year It would be great if you could make next year, Orson. We had a blast in Sibbe so why not carry on in Denmark? Right now I'm checking out the possibilities for a Danish V11 Rally to be held at MC Touring Camp. I've been there a couple of times and it's a great place. More to come.... Best regards Søren
  8. Hmmm, a hard one to tell but here's a link to a pair of Mistrals found on www.sd-tec.de Mistrals Søren
  9. Thanks a bunch, Hubert! Products look good and worth a try. On top of it the shop is located close to Nordhorn so it's not that far away. Will drop them a mail. Will fill you up with Jägermeister (!!!) when me meet next time in Sibbe. Don't tell that I didn't warn you.... Cheers Søren
  10. Yes John at the Tank Shop has made one before for a V11- its on his website. If you want one it may be a long wait though because he has a massive order book. Tikkanen is thinking about using WBO in Germany to build him an alu tank for his V11- maybe if you join together you could get a discount! Howdy Guzzirider and Ponti, yes, I had that in mind but I just checked WBO homepage and it reads...... The Alloy-Tankproduction has been stopped. Die Tankdeckel mit Abbildungen und Zeichnungen finden Sie auch in unserer Home-Page: www.newton-equipment.de ...which means we're back to The Tank Shop and the blessing of John Williams. John is hard to reach so good luck. Have tried several times but no cigar. Guzzirider had him by the ba... obviously 'cos John has made him a very beautyful tank, seat and side covers. Have just had the pleasure seeing Guzzirider's bike in the flesh and she's a stunner. Well done, matey! BR Søren
  11. Excellent! Outstanding footage and very professionally produced, Fotoguzzi. Guess I have figured out what you do for a living.... Some pretty large 'dogs' you have over there, by the way. I would also slow down if a buffalo looked at my 'nice Harley' that way Thanks for sharing! Cheers Søren
  12. I hope so – are you thinking of a month already? For me: not September. We talked about having Sibbe on the schedule every year as it's right in the centre of Europe, Paul and Muriëlle are the perfect hosts, we all like Le Chaussee and then having another rally somewhere else, i.e. Scotland, Northern Ireland, Denmark and so forth. September is in general not a good month as it collides with the pilgrimage to Mandello which a lot of V11 forum members will attend. I therefore suggest late August as a possibility. Must emphasize that this hasn't been approved by anyone but myself so I'm all ears for suggestions. In general September weather in Denmark is terrible with lots of rain and what have you, so maybe we should go for Denmark in May and Sibbe in August? Please chime in everyone. BR Søren
  13. And a warm hello from me to all of you. Made it home in one piece going warp speed the first 600 km. Managed to get home in 7hrs and 30mins (covering nearly 900km) so life is good! And no tickets, well, definitely no parking tickets Thanks to all you jolly people who attended the V11 Rally in Sibbe. We had a blast (and a severe hangover Saturday morning thanks to too many beers and Jägermeisters (!!)on tap) but who cares. Pity that you couldn't make it, David, but we'll get the chance to seeing each other next year in either Sibbe or Denmark. Feargal made it to Sibbe despite his breakdown in France. Arrived late Saturday morning in a hired French car. I was a knackered Saturday morning after a hefty night in the bar so Feargal took my Scura for a spin in the Eifel Mountains. Johannes was the lead out a man and he's a hard man on the bike! Remember last time where he made everybody look silly when he thrashed his Ballabio around the twisties. Massive respect, Johannes! Once again thanks for yet another pleasant weekend in company with the nicest people on Earth! Cheers Søren

  15. Good luck, Ferguzzi Hope you'll make it to Sibbe in one piece. And now to something fantastic: Guess who just has picked up his Scura after nearly two (2!!) months in the garage?? Yeehah! Back on the road again so sod the Beemer; the Scura will fly to Sibbe tomorrow Søren
  16. Hold it Jaap. Others are running nice and reliable, day for day, year after year. Some obviously don't, in 9 out of 10 cases after the innards were forced to see daylight. Hubert true, i am dealing with this problem every two years. This just came little bit earlier I thought it will come. Better it broke now, than in the middle of Germany Pity you can't make it to Sibbe this year, Slavomir, but we'll get the chance to seeing each other next year in Denmark when I arrange the V11 rally. Good luck with your bike; I do hope that all the spares needed are not in back order as I'm facing this right now. Will travel to Sibbe by CAR (aargh! Sick...) but that's life when your Scura is down and out with a broken spring (not the pawl, it's the spring attached to the shift drum that has gone south). BR Søren
  17. Hi Tom, yes, I went the same way as you but a beeing phat phuk I had my garage fixing it. You can see some pics of my Scura here and here In the last link there's a pretty good close-up shot of the dashboard. Hope it helps :-) BR Søren
  18. Howdy Hoytstaab, have also seen this bike on the Net but no details so far. However, Swedish motorcycle magazine MCM will feature the bike in their next issue. If you scroll halfway down the link you'll see a pic of the boardtrack Guzzi. Cheers Søren
  19. Wow! Fantastic scenery and beautiful snaps, BFG. Still stuck in garage due to the /&%/&¤%#¤%& gearbox spring but I hope to have the Scura ready for Sibbe next week. Fingers crossed! See you there :-) Søren
  20. Better bring that Cafe Racer, Mr. Lewis, or you'll get s#€% loads of stick from me! ;o) Looking forward to seeing you all in Sibbe and for the BBQ ) Cheers Søren Cafe racer is ready in the nick of time!! Phew!! I can now start packing as I am leaving this Thursday. Heard a whisper that someone may turn up in a car- hope you give them plenty of abuse Søren!! Blood will run in the streets of Sibbe, young Mr. Lewis... Turned out that my long waited spring (guess you all know what &/&¤)"# spring I'm talking about) which was in back order, finally arrived at my garage. Well, wrong spring, of course, so we are back to square one. Expect therefore a dark blue BMW 530D with Danish license plates in Sibbe....
  21. Love the SF 750 to bits. A true, genuine motor IMHO. My first trip as a wee lad was a pillion ride on my mom´s boyfriend´s black 750 SF way back in the Seventies. Søren
  22. Better bring that Cafe Racer, Mr. Lewis, or you'll get s#€% loads of stick from me! ;o) Looking forward to seeing you all in Sibbe and for the BBQ ) Cheers Søren
  23. Coming! And 'yes, please' for the BBQ Cheers Søren
