  1. Docc is right; it is the mentioned pin. BTW, I have two spare ones, so if any of you guys need one just let me know. Cheers Søren
  2. Umm, kinky. Can I have his address??: The bellyflab looks familiar but me having ginger hair? Nope. My great grandfather was a gypsy musician (no bull) so that explains my dark hair. Ah well, time for some raping, plundering and pillaging anyways. Who's up for grabs? Back to subject: Mr. Lewis, bring that bella macchina to Sibbe so we all can have drool at it :-) And you better bring your new toy with you as well, Jaap. Cant wait to see the final result! Have a nice one Søren
  3. Bloody awesome, Guy. Wish it was mine so better lock your garage! Enjoy Søren
  4. Good grief!!! Some people shouldn't be allowed to walk the streets and this chap takes the price. My goodness..... As for the tats I'm a total wimp and wouldn't get one even if I've been binge drinking for the entire weekend and sweet talked by a long legged blonde. No way... Having said that I love looking at other peoples tattoos as I - mostly - find them interesting and fascinating. A tattoo has to reflect the owner's life so it's totally up to yourself whether you want a skull surrounded by knives and flames or a dolphin - your call. Do what you wanna do but think twice. You're gonna wear it for the rest of your life, mate. Best of luck Søren PS: Nice one, Slavomir!
  5. Congratulations, Ketil As far as I know only 600 Scuras were build so we are the chosen few... I'm also a bit puzzled about your so called 2005 model ´cos as Guzzirider says they stopped producing them in 2004. Better check the VIN # and paperwork once more. Good luck with your bike and I hope to see you in Sibbe, NL for the V11 rally. Cheers Søren
  6. At the recently held Speed Weekend Festival in Sweden a madman named Togo did an average speed of 150 kmph on a old Guzzi trike. Yup, on ice... Can't find relevant footage on the Net, but Swedish magazine MCM (www.mcm.se) ran an article in their May issue. If you search on YouTube for 'Speed Weekend, Hayabusa' you'll see another Swedish bloke who does 154mph/247kmph on a Hayabusa with studded tyres. Hail Mary!... Søen
  7. Yup, Go Green! Love BRG! And add som pearlescent white as well; will make the green look even greener Grrrr!... Søren
  8. My son was on his way to Lanzarote, Spain with his track and field club. Now they're just training here in sunny but cold Copenhagen. He has put Iceland on the Axis of Evil BTW... Søren
  9. White, gold and black goes along pretty well. Check out the colour scheme on this HD from Dub Performance: Whaddayousay? I luv the colour scheme! Søren
  10. Eurosport doesn't show MGP, unfortunetely, but we do get Supersport and Superbike races. Leon Haslam did good yesterday in Valencia! Søren

    Bloody awesome. Full stop.....
  13. No you haven't... Please guide us to the link, Jaap. TIA. And the bike looks gorgeous! Love the upswept exhaust pipes. Saw a Ducati 750SS at he Ducati Museum in Bologna with a similiar setup. Crikey! Find the pics later.... Well, took me two seconds so here they are: My link and here: My link C'mon, Jaap! Show us the beast! Søren
  14. Ciao Franco :-) Check out this link: My link He may still have something on the shelf; alternatively he can guide you in the right direction. And a mighty fine Scura you have! Cheers Søren
  15. Good morning to you all, I sat the other day and asked myself "Wonder what has happened to Tex Redneck" and now I know. He was a very colourful man who liked to voice his opinion and definitely a man you'll never forget. Hands up everyone who cannot remember his, hmmm, very personal photo Godspeed, Tex Redneck, and my condolences to his family and friends. Søren Sorry! Tex Rider is hopefully alive and kicking. (I wrote "Tex Rider" instead of Tex Redneck")
  16. Next customer in line is yours truly. Just ordered a gelseat from Da Man; can't wait! Søren
  17. You know what they say about men with big feet, aye?.... (they wear big shoes, what else??) First man out gets the beers! :-) Søren
  18. When riding my wife's Ducati Monster I keep dragging the boots on the tarmac. Boots are size 11½ and the toesliders have taken their toll big time. Sidi makes replacement toesliders so no drama. Thanks for sharing the vid! I can only sit and dream about good weather as it's still crap here in Denmark with icy b-roads. Cities and motorways are okay for riding but as soon as you leave urban areas you're on your own. Have only seen a handful of desparadoes downtown Copenhagen riding their bikes, the rest is awaiting for the snow and ice to disappear. BR Søren
  19. :-) Chris (age 23) stands 6"4' and weighs 220 lbs (pure muscles and no bellyflab like his dad) so I behave... His twin brother Andreas is a tad smaller and weighs less but the two of them makes a leathal weapon. They have this thing about 'playing with dad' which means they cormer me and beat the living sh¤# out of me! Just for fun, of course, but you can really feel it when they give you the good news.... When I start talking about who shall take over the Scura when I take the final fart then they let go of me... And thanks for the kind words! Cheers Søren
  20. Hi Tom, not bad, not bad at all! Thanks a bunch! :-) Søren
  21. Wow! I'll stop bitching about the cold Danish winter immediately.... Thanks for sharing, John. Cheers Søren
  22. Had my 'chops painted black as I didn't fancy the red anodized ones. No hassle (left the job to the painter :-)). Only hick-up is that my boots (heels) have scratched some of the paint off but that's due to my silly riding style, I suppose (keeping the toes on the footpeg instead of the entire footsole). See some pics here: My link Søren
  23. Calling all stations: Yup, so I have and I can only recommend the standard Le Mans fairing. I stand 6"3' and the fairing gives me good wind protection. I've also fitted a double bubble windscreen from MRA but it creates turbulences around shoulders, neck and head. Will swap for the OEM windscreen if anyone is interested, please! As for fitting the windscreen I had my garage fixing it (You know; ten thumbs placed in the palm of my hands). The fairing looks great on the Scura IMO as it is an OEM product. See pics of my faired Scura here: My link Down the same alley I had the porkchops powdercoated in flat black to give a more stealthy look. I'm planning to have the bike painted next winter as I just want a new colour. Nothing carved in concrete yet but will probably go for a white/BRG theme. Any creative photoshoppers out there with good ideas? BR Søren PS: Thanks for being alert, Orson :-)
