  1. I should of said chin pad, not tank pad. I still have it but it looks like a tank bag caused some wear on it. I read the link on the ShinEets grease. If anyone has a nice one please let me know.

  4. Well I Got some Caig DeOxit, Took the kill switch apart, Sprayed it and worked the switch back and forth. It now works perfect. Thanks for the help.
  5. I'm picking up some Caig DeOxit. Can the kill switch be dismantled to be cleaned or should I just spray in the cracks when working it on and off back and forth?
  6. Well today checked to see if she would start, and nothing. I then worked the kill switch hard back and forth many times with no improvement. I then took my 1100 sport for a ride. When I got back four to five hours later I checked on the bike. Turned on the key and heard the fuel pump prime, Then hit the starter and it turned over and fired up. I never touched the adjustment on the clutch lever.
  7. I haven't moved the bars yet. But I did adjust the clutch lever before the problem. That could be what's going on with the starter button, I'll check today. Also about a year ago my friend went down on his Griso, I pulled over and turned my bike off with the kill switch. Then turned it back to run and the bike would not start. I got a ride to my house to get my trailer. When I got back to my bike it started up and has been OK until the kill switch was tripped yesterday. What are your thoughts, bad kill switch. Bad # 5 relay? I'll see if she starts today.
  8. The clutch was pulled in when I tried to start the bike.
  9. 2001 Rosso Mandello......When trying to start her up I turned on the key, the head light came on but no fuel pump sound. I then pushed the start button and nothing happened. I noticed that the kill switch had bin tripped. I flipped the kill switch to run but it was dead. The bike ran when I parked it. What do you think it could be?

  16. Are the zerk fittings from the ebay link the correct replacement for the driveline?
  17. So are the three lube points the front and rear zerk fittings and the splines where the rear wheel mates with the rear end?
  18. Grease gun is new with new tube of Wurth Sig 3000. I will check for ball movement in zerk fitting.
  19. Do the zerk fittings need to be replaced some times? I don't think any grease is getting in? { zerk at back of driveline} I should see grease coming out, But I don't.

  23. Rear wheel off and trying to lube the rear fitting on the drive line. With the grease gun on and pumping there is no grease coming out of the joint. I don't think any grease is going in. also it's very hard to remove the gun from the fitting. Do I need to replace the nipple on the drive line?
  24. The spot where the engine numbers should be looks perfectly smooth but blank. It looks like the factory just missed it. If the CHP would let me engrave a number, what engraving tool would be best to use?
  25. I just purchased an 2002 V11 LeMans from Boston, I'm in california. Are the engine numbers located in any other place also?
