  1. How can you not love those jugs?
  2. These guys could be a source.
  3. Same diameter?
  4. Well I guess that's why they call it an adventure bike. Chalk that up as #1. Good luck with it!
  5. I would offer him 2k max. Needs wheels and tires, plus everything you find after you get it home.
  6. Jeez, she knocks it out of the park. Where's her Grammy?
  7. Im thinking there is a good reason to keep one there...summer.
  8. Payment sent. Thank you!
  9. Have checked FedEx? Or DHL?
  10. I wouldn't risk it. 20 year old rubber is too old for me at highway speeds. Needs to have good rubber, oil and fuel. But that's me.
  11. Thank you all for that good stuff. Some of it I was aware of, but the overall knowledge of this group pointed me to other things I might not have considered.
  12. I suppose I meant higher than my other bikes, since most of them are close to 10k or under. There might be some items of concern. Clutches and wheel bearings come to mind.
  13. Looking at a 2001 Sport. It is a rider for the original owner, not a beauty queen. 50k on the clock. What should I be looking for on a well used machine. Not too many records to look at, but his mechanic is a good one and hope he would have caught all the usual suspects. IDK about clutch life, rubber tubing, etc. Gearbox brace...probably doesn't t have one, but at 50k has it proved its worth? Gearbox recall was dealt with. But at 50k it might need some love...and love costs money.
  14. Email sent. Thanks!
  15. Yes it is...I had all my insurances requoted by a smaller company in the NW. My policies included 4 passenger vehicles, work truck, motorcycles, earthquake insurance and home. I saved over 3k for apples to apples coverage. When you stay with the same company for years, there is price creep going on that I never noticed. Once I compared, my eyes were opened.
  16. Yeah, we haven't even got mail delivered since last week. So much for that neither snow nor rain nor heat stuff...
  17. Crazy! We are a warm 16°.
  18. Lots of frozen pipes issues up here on the mountain from folks who lost power for a few days. Some wont even find out until things warm up. Still 77,000 homes without power, and an ice storm coming tomorrow. These utility and tree crews can't get a break.
  19. Plumbers around here will be fixing frozen pipes for the next few weeks, soon to be followed by Texas plumbers. Spring can't come fast enough.
  20. My daughter was almost 4. Easier to deal with when you have natural gas, but she is on all electric, as probably you are.
  21. Good thoughts sent your way! Hope the medical team is ready to go. Brutal conditions for lots this week.
  22. My daughter is in Austin and I checked the forecast. Looks to be a super cold front. At least it doesn't look like the last freeze which was an ice storm. She was without power for days...which meant no heat or cooking. She had to run out and get a Coleman stove to cook.
