O.K. I'm still waiting to see if Todd was correct. End the FOOKING drama!!!!!!!!! Happy Thanksgiving to all............ Wick

I can't wait to read how this drama turns out. No, the Roper plate won't take care of a loosened filter. It will take care of a slightly low oil level combined with a lot of hard acceleration off the line. With any luck, your looking at big end rod bearings. That fixed my bike. Maybe not. I just reread your first post and my bike never did anything like what you described in it's death throws. Wick

Put it on a trailer and take it down to MPH and let Haven fix it. Mine ran a lot better overall after they got done with it. While your at it, have them put on the Roper plate so you won't have to go through this again........... Wick

Well, I went over to the local Harley shop and looked at all the Buell's footpegs. Most like the Ulysses had a cast peg with an integral curb feeler and had a wide supportive peg for the foot. There was one bike that had the pegs with the removable curb feeler and it was smaller and more sporty than the wide pegs. Thats what I bought. Part numbers are N0520.1AD and N0521.1AD Retail was $15.95 apiece and they are made in Taiwan. I didn't read the previous posts very well, so I have to go back after the bigger springs tomorrow. Wick

Check with Greg Field at Moto International regarding the peg lowering parts they have available. You won't like the Evo kit (if you can find one) unless your feet are 16+ and you don't mind having your heels touching the exhaust pipe. Also, be advised that you may find that changing the pegs may increase the load on your wrists due to the change in ergos. ymmv. I'm happy with M4 pipes and the stock cross-over for sound and power. They are ovals. Wick

You might want to check with Todd at MPH Cycles and see if some of my takeoff parts might help. I bought M4 pipes through them and they sound great. The Guzzi carbon hugger looked like shit. You may already have EdgeGuards installed on your bike. Take a look...... Wick

Quota screen holes didn't line up on bike. Had to virtually beat him to get a replacement which was undrilled and the thing was wavy molded and looked like, well, crap. I wound up giving it away to a new Quota owner looking for windshield options on the net. As down on Gustaffson's junk as I am, I am very, very happy with the MRA windshields from Germany as imported by Twisted Throttle. Super high quality plastic parts...... Wick

Gustafsson, Quota, windshield, crap..... Wick

Gustafsson plastic sucks, period. Just my opinion, ymmv........... Wick

I have had some headshake at times on my bike in corners when the road is rough. I'm sure that there is more to be done with the setup over-all that will help mitigate this. However, I would like to have a full Ohlins package on my Nero Corsa, just like is on the Cafe. Wick
-
I would like to have an Ohlins steering damper for my Nero Corsa to replace the one that came on the bike. Probably the same unit that is on my Cafe Sport. Anybody know where to get one?? Thanks, Wick

Hi Pete, When you get back home and start getting the plates out, I would like 4 of them please. My address is in Eads, Tennessee zip 38028 USA. Please pm me a total price for the plates and shipping and the paypal address and I'll get my end done. Thanks, Wick

Those are CRG levers. All of my V11's have them installed. Another detail I forgot to list, but those levers have great on the fly adjustability and look cool on the bike. They come in silver, gold and black anodized colors. I went with the silver because the gold doesn't really match the Ohlins very well. Wick

Yep, There are three. And a Quota. I'm going to list the Quota for sale over at the Wildgoose website later on tonight. I've decided that I like my 1150GS better than the Q and I've had my fun with it. I didn't mention that the Cafe has the new slightly shorter bodied M4 carbon pipes on it and since I shot those pictures, I have removed the hugger and installed all three of the Edge Guard pieces to the aft underbody. It actually looks even better now. My next step is to take the bike to Atlanta to the Ohlins factory authorized repair/installation shop and have the suspension resprung for my weight and have it clicked in. Then, I think I'll be all done with this one, setup-wise. Wick

Some time ago I had MPH Cycles modify my new Cafe Sport to suit my tastes. The frame mounted fairing was removed and a carbon fiber Guzzi windscreen was mounted to the tripletree. The headlight was replaced with the older Bosch unit(so it wouldn't stick out and look goofy). The tubular bars were replaced with o.e.m. clip-ons like my Nero Corsa and raised with the MPH bar risers. While they were in there, I had them rewire the headlamp through a relay to increase the functionality of the light. Wick

Pete, Please define "Flash Harry". And, how is it going with the set-up of the oil windage plates. Wick
