  1. It would be a real benefit to actually see this centerstand in action. Can anyone get some photos to post. And Greg, did you get the check yet??? Wick
  2. I like my MRA windscreen. Quality product. I have the MPH risers on my Lemans and they are very comfortable. Wick
  3. Hey Todd, Are you going to stock the new black CRG levers as well as the grey and yellow anodized ones? Wick
  4. Heck, the West Tennessee folks are 10 plus hours away and only go to Houston for our bikes and maintenance on them. MPH is one of the best, if not the best. Wick

    Hi

You could just go down to Houston and get the much coveted Nero Corsa Lemans down there at MPH. A lot of people wish it could happen and a few make it happen. I have seen other Lemans come up for sale from time to time. The bike in Houston already has the footpegs lowered and Mike has an outstanding bar riser kit for the bike as well for more comfort. You won't be disappointed. Wick
  6. Tripletango, I p.m.'d you regarding parts off my bike at MPH. I have a lot of new takeoff stuff you might want to economize with doing your repair. Sorry your bike is down... Wick
  7. No issues with oil. Considering that Guzzi was broke when this bike was built and there were other bearing problems on my bike(wheel bearings), I suspect lowest bidder parts were the cause. The bike runs great since the surgury. This problem started just shy of 2K miles... Wick
  8. I'm betting that it is the rod bearings like mine. Hope everything works out... Wick
  9. I have the MPH risers on my Nero Corsa. I really like the additional comfort. I have a set of Williamsville risers in the box that I haven't put on my '03/'02 Naked bike. I'm going to give them a try. If they don't work out everybody will see them for sale in a while. Wick
  10. Hi Greg, Got photos of that new setup? Thanks. Wick
  11. Wouldn't Agostini know the answer to that question? They were able to come up with the complete parts list for my Cafe Sport front end conversion that the Haven's are doing for me. Wick
  12. The sound that I was hearing started after the bike warmed up. It was actually normal for the first few minutes. It would then come and go depending on how I had the engine loaded up.The noise got louder with more mileage. (100 miles or so) If you want more details, call Mike Haven at MPH. He found the problem and fixed the bike. Wick
  13. And did you have some kind of date in mind for this ??? Wick

    coppa flyscreen

The '04's have the front fairing attached to the frame. It sticks way out there compared to the older Sport Naked bikes with the Guzzi optional flyscreen and does not rotate with the triple tree. The Haven's are moding my new Cafe Sport to the old fairing configuration as well as returning the controls to the clip-on bars ala the Nero Corsa. I will be using the MPH bar risers and replacement clutch and brake lines for a bit more comfort. This will make the Cafe Sport into something like the original Scura should have been. Maybe not the way everyone else would like their Sport setup, but it is the way I want it. Wick
  15. My loud "tappet" sounding noise turned out to be a bad connecting rod bearing. This was on my '03/02 V11 Sport naked bike at a thousand miles. It got really loud before the repair. Wick
  16. I put an MRA screen on my Nero Corsa and it works great. Super quality part. The polar opposite to the Gustaffson products. Twistedthrottle or something like that. Do the google search... Wick
  17. I would keep the '01 red frame bike. To me it is a much better bike to look at with the silver engine. I have always liked the way the earlier bikes turned in as well. More nimble. That '03 is just a one later year model with a lot of cosmetic faults about to happen. I'd get the carbon pipes off of it though. Wick

    Why So Slow?

AFAIK the Ducati dealership sold to the BMW dealer there. David Bloodworth as Bloodworth Motors has been a beemer dealer forever. The former Ducati Nashville sent back their Guzzi inventory a long time ago. I explored trading my Multistrada for the Nero Corsa they had, but they didn't have the money to trade with me. Got my Nero Corsa from Mike Haven after that. Wick
  19. Hey Trispeed, How about some photos of the Centauro footpeg setup. I tried the Evoluzione footpeg relocators. Nice kit, but it put more pressure on the wrists. The rearward location also placed the shifter waaay out front of the left peg and shifting was a pain in the ass. Have to move your foot forward to shift ala dirt bikes. The Centauro deal sounds more like it. Wick
  20. Kendon: twice the price at half the weight? Sounds like a deal! Wick
  21. Every Intl. Motorcycle Show I have been at has had the Handy people there with "Show Specials". Better take a truck and/or trailer.... Wick
  22. Mine is like Jaap's only it came in red. I agree with TR that Handy has the best lift. Right now I'm on a budget so I can get a new Cafe Sport. And I went with the alternative. Plan "A" is to get a Handy later on and use the budget lift for long term projects and the Handy for everyday up and down stuff. I like the electric model. Its more expensive, though I won't need full time air. Wick
  23. I've got Sportec M1's that came on my Nero Corsa that are great. I have the Z6's on my 1100RT Beemer and they work well. The old Bridgestones that came on my 02.5 Sport Naked, not so good. Wick
  24. I bought one from Harbor Freight. $299 from China. Has a drop panel on the rear to remove rear wheels on some bikes. I like it except for the stop plate and front wheel clamp. Advrider.com has a couple of threads on lifts. Wick
  25. I had Mike put on a set when I picked up my Nero Corsa last Spring. It works great and is very comfortable. It comes with longer brake and clutch lines made by Spiegler. Call him or Todd, the number is on the website, about availability. Wick
