  1. Time to move on from Guzzi, they got stuck in the old world. pretty sad..
  2. I got a swivel fitting for my greese gun from Ace hardware, it is about 2" long and swivels enought to engage the front zerk.
  3. Pray tell? that's all I remember, call MPH in Houston.
  4. I thought MPH had a solution using a Mercedes Benz part.. ?
  5. Nice, thx 4 posting!
  6. id something needs to breakit's probably better the ss than the mount into the engine block.
  7. solve that with a thin piece of plywood bolted to the chock.. when the rear tire weight is on it, no problem pulling it out.. my board is a little short for the Cali but just right for a V11 or Uly..
  8. probably has the TPS all screwed up, I'd be all over that deal if I was closer to it.
  9. Wonderful pics! and story thanks for posting.
  10. Lucky guy you are!
  11. I'll bet the Cali rims weight quite a bit more than the stock mags..
  12. yes he needed the flywheel replaced too it was cracked.
  13. Hum, mind at rest? I'll try that when I'm dead.. changing out the clutch is not hard just time consuming. my friend did 2 in 77,000 miles on his Scurra.
  14. how about Power Cruiser? price to high on that 0ne but nice!
  15. I'm not the expert but for 1 year they used hydraulic valves.. the problem was they didn't harden the camsshaft (or something like that) and the wear would run thru the oil pump and ruin it. that's why you want a recalled motor that was never run before the fix..Others will have the true facts, I'm just givin the Cliff's notes here,.
  16. point to note, niether of those have tubeless rims.. and the 03 might be a Hydro motor, I wouldn't touch it unless the recall was performed before any miles acumulated.
  17. Calijackalbob, Nice bike.. running gear is all the same as the Bassa but for me the tubeless rims were priceless! flat tire? plug and go without even taking the wheel off. tubes on the side of the road, BTDT never again.
  18. Any thoughts on this, I wouldn't !
  19. simple and elegant that blade tesioner really works.
  20. Nice, your a lucky guy.. might want to join up at http://wildguzzi.com/forum/index.php?board=1.0 it's a larger group that covers all Guzzi's and anything ellse you need an expert for.
  21. I don't see the length listed but it looks just like mine, get it. 1/2 drive will be fine.
  22. dig in to thisoldtractor.com find greg benders Moto Guzzi site and you can find the manuals..
  23. Oh if you need the 32mm deep socket for the front crank nut I will send to you and you send back when your done with the job.
  24. I don't know, what I do know is the bearing flanges don't slip off easily.. I have a nice condition Crank shaft in an EV1100 motor, you can have it if I could get it free of the block. I think it's the same crank.. just so you know the forum at http://wildguzzi.com/forum/index.php?board=1.0 might be worth consulting.
  25. 15M computer (same as your spine frame bikes), smaller than the EV box that was right under your tailbone (98-01 EV) bullet proof as in they don't have many problems (nor did the earlier p9 box in the 98 EV) 99-00 are the only years for the Bassa.. same running gear as the EV so any of them are close to the same.. for me the tubeless rims were key, the Cal Special Sport is what the Bassa evolved into but they regressed to the tube type rims. so I recommend the Bassa or a 2001-04 EV, the rims changed on the EV to chromed tubeless, not as elegant in my view.
