  1. I think the latch mount has slotted holes so it can be raised in height, maybe you just need to line it up closer?
  2. note Nm, is that different from foot pounds?

  4. I just used a channel lock pliers to loosen that nut and replace it w/a hex nut.
  5. Blasphemer, the Nero is the most stunning Guzzi ever.. keep as is..

  7. My friends Scurra.. don't know what number it was but went thru 2 by 70,000 miles
  8. snug down equally.
  9. wouldn't that be a great solution?
  10. valves set too tight?
  11. "Like we've learned about wildfires: that's actually the way many of our forests rejuvenate themselves." good analogy.. If trump burns down the world will it rejuvenate a less racist world? I hope it doesn't come to that.. but I'm fully with you about any racists here, I don't like you neither!
  12. check bullet connectors along steering neck/frame, left side under tank.

    Bluest skies

there's oil in your coffee cup..
  14. won't they just rust up again ?
  15. If I have a part you need and I'm not using it, I usually say free or very low price.. I still have some EV 1100 parts, Flywheel, used clutch, block, timing cover.. .complete fork/triple clamps/brace/headlight mounts ($200?) and more, anyone?
  16. If the motor is out, tip it on it's nose so the springs won't want to fall out. or use a lttle silicone glue to hold them in place. yes make a compression tool.
  17. download for fre here.. scroll to bottom of page. http://www.thisoldtractor.com/moto_guzzi_misc_owner-s_manuals___rider-s_handbooks___use_and_maintenance_manuals.html

  21. my Lemans (stock) had the same stumble at 3200 and when I got rid of the stock crossover for a Mistral the stumble went away.. I did not have the front balance pipe tho..
  22. first I would load test the battery.
  23. I do think there is a difference.. in the bottom plastic and you might be able to modify it.. or if it was only $125. you should be able to flip it and not loose any money..
  24. as to vibration.. make sure both tires are balanced. and steering head bearings tightened to spec... also the forks have compression in one and damping in the other leg, some miss match in settings could set up some vibration? I doubt the TB sync would cause that much vibes accept at idle. note that the steering neck/frame bolts right to the timing chest of the motor, vibration is inherent in the design so if the motor is not well balanced you shake..
  25. seat looks re-worked.. bars look really nice, no idea what they are.. if you need a steering dampner go for something after market. stock wears out fast. I never thought it was needed but the 02 and later have slightly less rake.. Nice looking bike w/low miles, good for you!
