  1. I do still have 2 red calipers (Appi RSVmille = 65mm) for sale after I changed to triple bridge calipers. They have brandnew braking pads. The brake-lines won't have to be changed. It's not really perfect fitting but it works.
  2. Our Gyles will be racing a MGS-01 this season. http://www.thunderbikeuk.com/index.php I'm looking forward to see some racing pics. I noticed they will come over to France the 14-15th of Juin. hi Gyles, is there any possibillity I could take part on this race?
  3. Hey to all, Is there someone here living in France who knows a nice 'gite' for me, my girlfriend and 3year old son and a dog to stay during the Trofeo Rosso event on 19-20 july?
  4. Nice pic! I had already noticed you have the most lovely actionpics. Home photographer?
  5. It's 3332 internationals. I think you forgot the MGS-01 victories.
  6. Hey Marc, do you already have a buyer for the PVM's? I have a friend looking for a couple of rims to fit his Day.
  7. Sorry to hear this. Always hard to lose a friend. Get yourself soon an other pup, it moderates the pain. I'm aware of this. Cropped or not, it IS the same dog. That's very correct. They remain kids. @DeBen You can see it in his eyes, he loves the bike! PS: 200 lbs ? That's huge. And he is looking good in the pic. I can't imagine. 200 ? By the way, a Guzz of 200 lbs. Not in your nicest dreams
  8. Thanks, about the ears, there's been a huge discussion in Europe. Since years it is strictly forbidden to cut ears and tails of animals, including pigs, horses and of course dogs. You can't even get a dog from a country where it's legal. I suppose dogs in the US are still cutted? To be honest, that's how I like the dobe. With natural ears they look so sweet... and they are This lady, born in 2004, has still a cutted tail (forbidden in Belgium since 2006). Dobes born after 2006 are just like hunting dogs! A pity, but that's the way it is.
  9. I don't think I like that green. Everyone around tells me to let it black. You know I tried a little photoshop, a bit 80s-90s style. An era there wasn't much to tell about Guzzi's except for that American dentist. So, in honor: (I 've added some gold striping, reminds me of the Lucky Strike Kevin Schwantz !) What do you think? It's not red-yellow-black, allmost not!
  10. You will find some here: http://www.v11lemans.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=12015
  11. Nice they sell them in various colors and sizes! I'm quite sure nobody will approach the bike without asking Very nice Bull Terrier! I like them a lot
  12. And of course, orange is your national sportcolour!
  13. Gyles, your green matches very much to the original! I've seen many others So, great job! But like Paul says, it's really 50's. Not that this is wrong, anyway. But the green is, in my humble opinion, lacking of 'speed'. It's a very 'static' color. Just like black. I like the bike in black... when it is standing on the paddock, glittering in the sun. Very georgious, as Pille says, but when I see pictures taken on the track I see a whole other thing. It's missing 'speed' (I could ride a little harder, maybe that would improve the view! haha) Orange, Paul? Why orange? It makes the bike even bigger! I don't think that's nice for a racingbike. You want to keep her looking small and fast, mean and hungry! No, I think I'd prefer the national racing-colors. I like these ones a lot: This was how my very own Le Mans looked like back in 1992: I even like the Coppa America which is very based on the previous, isn't it? Or maybe I just keep her in black. As I read on the official MG site: 'the legendary Guzzi black' I don't have a clue where that 'legendary' comes from!
  14. If MG should have an official race team! Which paint scheme should the bikes have? I do like the white & red Guzzi racers (Dr John's Daytona, Guaro's MGS01, ...) very much. Tenni lovers will have complete other thaughts. As I really want to repaint my bike after all those years, I'm a bit confused.
  15. Respect, for sure! But, didn't Mick Doohan and Jacques Villeneuve try that same escapade a long time ago? Villeneuve wasn't allowed by his team to ride the GP 2stroke Big-Bang motorcycle because of too dangerous and Doohan smacked the wall with the F1 bolide after leaving the pitbox. Would that mean that nowadays cars and bikes are much easier to handle? 5 seconds less fast than the fastest is still very fast !! Means, they really are champions!
  16. Nobody will! Loved his style, liked him very much One of my favorites of all time Was already a legend way before he passed. Very sad!
  17. Thanks, Alex. And no! the shock absorber isn't changed. You are not the first who mention this. Why? What's wrong with the genuine WP shock? The
  18. Georgious pic! with all the right stuff at the right place. I would love to be there. Keep me informed, will you?
  19. I don't wonna spoil your topic but here's the bigger pic. Like it or like it not? Should I make a fairing like this or not? PS this photoshop was made in 10 minutes, so don't look close
  20. Oh no no no! The pic is a photoshop. I was wondering how it would look like with a full fairing. So I made it my avatar to see it daily, wondering if it was a 'to do' or 'not to do'. I have an original looking fairing. Very lightweight (1kg) from Heru. Can't remember the price.
  21. Race fairing: http://www.heru-carbontec.de/
  22. Alllll Right Gyles! Well done. I like reading stuff like this! Congratz to you and your team.
