    Hi Everybody!

Haven't checked in in a while been distracted with life but glad we're all still here!
  3. That's pretty cool, never noticed that,I'll check it out....But sure the TPS/Co reset will do wonders for her, shame as she is humming everywhere else in the rev range...
  4. I believe that is the Air-Fuel mixture, which I would also do with the software....
  5. Bike is running sweet,I do my own tuning and with MG Ti cans been very happy with her for years, except,on very small throttle openings, rolling off and on for turns, like a light switch sometimes.Have never re-set the TPS with the software, only with a meter and have had a Mistral mid pipe I've been wanting to install for a while so when season ends for me in 4-6 weeks think I'm gonna take a stab at GuzziDiag and TPS re-set,A/F and a FI balance.Just feels like the TPS doesn't know where 0 is...Anybody else experience this?
  6. Chuck what is that damp spot by the relays?....
  7. Yes,mine died a few years ago and got one at a local NAPA store....Couple bucks.Just bring yours in and they should have a replacement.
  8. I've been working on this bike for 10 years and always learning....Better to be lucky than good....
  9. Well,I think the axle helped a wee bit!... Thanks for the confirmation...
  10. OK maybe part of the slow spinning wheel.Found this sitting in the tire changer..I've only had the front wheel off a half-dozen times so you would think I would remember...Assuming this is the correct position...Shop manual and parts list aren't clear....Too many bikes!
  11. Every time I clean up my eight pistons, the difference in feel is remarkable. I do it every front tire change now and it always makes me happy! Docc, how far do you break them down? Take off the hoses, pull pistons,re-bleed.Or keep intact, just spray with brake cleaner, scrub and blow out. What do you lube the pistons with?
  12. No grinding noise, bearings greased and axle and pinch bolts re-installed correctly and torqued to factory spec... So Hubert has answered the question here. Should the wheel spin freely?(like a bicycle) I've had the front wheel off several times for tire changes and brake caliper cleaning.Just never noticed how much free play the wheel had once spun....Maybe I never checked spin before?.... So unless you've done this or go out and lift the front end and check it,....Curious now?... Lotta bikes, lotta maintenance....
  13. With the front end lifted while doing a tire change,I noticed the wheel didn't spin with what I would call super ease after reassembling everything.Gets about a revolution or so and comes to a halt.Standard Brembos and cleaned calipers, not a full tear down, but blasted brake cleaner and wiped everything down.Should it spin multiple revolutions?
  14. Also Pro Pilot in NJ,did the recall and tuning on my bike (before I owned it) and it is the best handling bike I've ever owned
  15. Many of us are using the Odyssey, but I would trust KiwiRoy's suggestions. My original battery was still working but when I did a restoration of the bike two years ago, I replaced it with the Odyssey even though it was still working fine but showing signs of slowing.
  16. Ordered a PR4 front,PR4GT rear from Jake's. $331.44
  17. Thanks Tom,I got about 5K on my PR2 rear with very little highway miles and have always been happy with them.OK Jake Wilson unless someone else has a better price.
  18. I went to Jake Wilson today and noticed the same thing, anyone go to a different profile size or just went to the GT?

    Scura handling

My set up is the best handling bike I've ever owed.But,..it was re-sprung on both ends by Pro Pilot an authorized Ohlins shop,by the PO.Crucial to the setup of these, whether you do it yourself or have a pro do it. http://www.propilotsuspension.com/
  20. I'd be interested in it Jet,....
  21. Craig, you didn't modify the clutch bleeder? They are longer than the stock one.
  22. If it's not bad enough that you can still ride it safely,I would wait to the end of the season but order parts now because of possible lag time. Pulling the tranny isn't that bad. Remove rear wheel, drive shaft and swingarm and you have access.A dozen or so bolts and she's off.Could be done on a weekend if you have all parts on hand. Also gives you a chance to service driveshaft and swingarm bearings, wheel bearings,etc,....
  23. No it's sat for a few years indoors.Battery is shot but already got a new one, will try to get her running on Tues when I get back from Islay. But because of limited tools on hand and time I was trying to see if I had a local member available to help.If it was at home,I'd have her running no problem.
