https://www.guzzifan.com/moto-guzzi-tuning-codes-infos-tips/ Also recommended: After install for the first two rides on seperate days an adaptation procedure was followed: 1. Start engine & allow to idle for 5 minutes. 2. Drive vehicle for 5 minutes between 20 & 30 MPH. Do not allow RPMās to exceed 3000 RPMās. 3. Drive vehicle for 15 minutes between 40 & 60 MPH. Do not allow RPMās to exceed 3000 RPMās. 4. Stop vehicle & allow to idle for 5 minutes.

My sensor bung site was relocated when I installed my MassMoto crossover Miro Kacur. With regards to yours abutting the frame the width difference is effectively 2.5mm wider each side than your stock sensor - Iām guessing itās lightly touching otherwise you wouldnāt have been able to line it up & screw it in otherwise. Although I agree touching is not ideal. So what to do as a solution? Well, in the first instance Iād probably release all the clamps around the stock collector joining the stock pipes & tug & pull, yank & twist to try & gain an extra 1 or 2mm of clearance if possible. Swearing & banging with & rubber mallet might help too! Maybe even give it a start & some blipping revs or short ride with those pipe joints loose & try to bang squeeze some sort of wedge in there like a hacksaw blade - hopefully any engine twisting in frame with loose joint will help some readjustment. Then after tightening pipe joints remove wedge & hopefully have some sort of resettlement with 1 or 2mm clearance. Bush fixes Iād try first. If all that malarkey fails just get new bung fitted wherever youād think appropriate. On my relocation site choice I researched first that O2 sensors should be reasonably close to exhaust valve exit - from memory I think it was recommended like 12-18 inches - but you can check. They like a hot temperature environment - & with no possibility of contamination of outside air from end pipe ingress. Finally imo - Iād worry less than you & being happy Iād simply managed to screw it in place - just plug in & go ride as is & test the new differences to your bike. Itās your call MK in best routes to alleviating the frame rub Iām looking forward to your report back on your bikes behaviour šš Ps. Mine after long period of time now - remains completely smooth & 100% hiccup snatch free Totally recommend for 15RC fitted V11ās

Whoa up there pilgrim! š āFrenzyā behooves a balanced reviewā¦

Iāll sign up for a glossy black carbon weave hump - if this all succeeds After some gravel corrugated roads riding my hump fell off at high speed when back on the bitumen Lucky to have noticed on filling up at next gas station so retraced my route some 15 kms & found it Guess the new carbon weave job will sort out even better than getting original fixed

When I look down Iāve noticed my barrels are also out of alignment I cope ācos studies have found āasymmetryā adds beautyā¦ š¤

Thanks A Y āruns good stationaryā is a start - but looking forward to that ride report! Three months later hopefully youāve managed to get in enough saddle time to add in some further impressions on the impact your gears make. Thanks VeeEleven - your note āShe just runs betterā concurs with Pressureangleās impressions. But - do you recall if your valves were incorrectly gapped in any way before your gear installation?? Pressureangle relayed previously his were tight & required adjustment - so this also needs to be accounted for ie., hard starting etc., as opposed to all subsequent benefits being simply apportioned to the gears. Pressureangleās experience with his drivetrain lash amelioration is highly intriguing - and maybe warrants further observations or analysis by other gear recipients enquiring minds! Iām hoping everyone who bought JCās gears installs & are able to follow up with their impressions - adds a collective depth of experience to this thread before it merely runs cold without definitive dispassionate conclusions. (Any comparative commentary ie., Valtech, additionally provides clarity to this threads historical value in the future).

Thanks Pressureangle for your kickoff impressions on how adding the gears impacted your V11 - hoping everyone who got this latest batch of JCās gears chime in some feedback thereby adding up to a worthy collection. But are there crickets? Iāve kinda been surprised at the lack of reports post sale - & was wondering whether that silent void was a telling indication. Maybe itās a hint that the initial enthusiasm for the purchasing of gears had not sufficiently met owners expectations - or it mightāve meant everyone was out busy riding & enjoying their improved V11 with bigger grins! Whoās happy - why? Whoās not - why? Good, bad, meh indifferent - all impressions will help add to the knowledge bank.

If enough riding opportunities have been had & enjoyed ā¦are you guys planning on adding your impressions? Made much difference?

Are you for real gstallons? āDonāt be so pernickety.ā______________ Anyhoo.. seems if everyoneās more or less on board with Jaapās sentiment - myself included - Iām not taking umbrage so Iāll just easily move the needle onto the next trackā¦ Ah Bob Dylan. Classic. Old political songs are more palatable than fresh protest presumably. Always enjoyed contemplating what Bob had to croon - #1.
