  1. Quit sitting on ‘yer fat arse… get out & pull with Red-pilled Rudolph! 😆 Ps fasting eliminates those holly proteins
  2. Are you sure? It all depends on what you like… Riding is rather boring if it wasn’t for curves imo Grounding side of boot still makes me jump mid corner & breaks concentration of the moment If given choice of dropping or lifting pegs half an inch - I’d actually choose ⬆️ now Leave ‘em where they are - the position seems more comfortable with more miles Occasionally extend out your outside leg on a curve to give your muscles & tendons a stretch & little pump of the blood flow - it’s all good Not all fiddling ends up worthwhile Just sayin’…
  3. Just so happens last Friday I was skanking along to some of The Specials songs being played by a Ska band Today I hear the sad news about Terry Hall 19 March 1959 - 18 December 2022 R.I.P. 4. This pricked my ears! Is there a checklist of ‘Weak Points’ already? I’d run a ruler over mine…

  9. Back from ‘holiday’ GuzziMoto - so belated cheers. 🍻 I actually found Gale’s data revealing. V11’s are faulted for having a mid-range hole - is there maybe more here than meets the eye The power loss experienced by Gale’s 427ci sucking under hood air is 111 Hp - which is equivalent to almost 16 Hp per litre. Now this hooded hot aired 550 Hp divided by 7 (as in 7L) is 78 Hp per Litre Whilst ambient air 661 Hp divided by 7 is 94 Hp Numbers somewhat in our 1L V-twins territory Now I’m not postulating we would reduce Hp losses of 16 Hp here - or even halving that again @8 Hp. But conservatively if we halve it again @4 Hp - that’s got to be up for consideration Under hoods aren’t particularly hermetically sealed areas - all that open space betwixt engine bay & road - meaning it’s getting spoiled airflow too Maybe our restricted pocket of air between tank & radiating finned cylinder’s is more detrimentally heated than we imagine? Are we overly assuming it’s quite the little refreshing wind tunnel in there when we’re moving along? Might Gale consider the V11’s heated intake density ‘pure Jackassery’
  10. I found this short vid by Gale Banks (he sure knows a thing or two about pow-wuh!) with air density data interesting. I often wonder on Ozzie summer days just to what degree our stock intake box perched between two combustion chambers shedding heat - ends up baking the air charge prior to the intake valve opening. Would wrapping in some reflective insulation which claim to reflect heat continuously up to 260°C & intermittently up to 400°C be worthwhile as in performance gains - or futile exercise?
  11. Good info fella’s These tips are helpful Made memo to myself to check state of my own 👍😎
  12. 😇 Some of the kids who discovered me from my 'F.E.A.R.' record or one of the U.N.K.L.E. tunes have said, 'I don't even like the Roses; I love your solo stuff." I buzz off that. - lan Brown

  14. https://www.guzzifan.com/moto-guzzi-tuning-codes-infos-tips/ Also recommended: After install for the first two rides on seperate days an adaptation procedure was followed: 1. Start engine & allow to idle for 5 minutes. 2. Drive vehicle for 5 minutes between 20 & 30 MPH. Do not allow RPM’s to exceed 3000 RPM’s. 3. Drive vehicle for 15 minutes between 40 & 60 MPH. Do not allow RPM’s to exceed 3000 RPM’s. 4. Stop vehicle & allow to idle for 5 minutes.
  15. My sensor bung site was relocated when I installed my MassMoto crossover Miro Kacur. With regards to yours abutting the frame the width difference is effectively 2.5mm wider each side than your stock sensor - I’m guessing it’s lightly touching otherwise you wouldn’t have been able to line it up & screw it in otherwise. Although I agree touching is not ideal. So what to do as a solution? Well, in the first instance I’d probably release all the clamps around the stock collector joining the stock pipes & tug & pull, yank & twist to try & gain an extra 1 or 2mm of clearance if possible. Swearing & banging with & rubber mallet might help too! Maybe even give it a start & some blipping revs or short ride with those pipe joints loose & try to bang squeeze some sort of wedge in there like a hacksaw blade - hopefully any engine twisting in frame with loose joint will help some readjustment. Then after tightening pipe joints remove wedge & hopefully have some sort of resettlement with 1 or 2mm clearance. Bush fixes I’d try first. If all that malarkey fails just get new bung fitted wherever you’d think appropriate. On my relocation site choice I researched first that O2 sensors should be reasonably close to exhaust valve exit - from memory I think it was recommended like 12-18 inches - but you can check. They like a hot temperature environment - & with no possibility of contamination of outside air from end pipe ingress. Finally imo - I’d worry less than you & being happy I’d simply managed to screw it in place - just plug in & go ride as is & test the new differences to your bike. It’s your call MK in best routes to alleviating the frame rub I’m looking forward to your report back on your bikes behaviour 👍😎 Ps. Mine after long period of time now - remains completely smooth & 100% hiccup snatch free Totally recommend for 15RC fitted V11’s

  17. Whoa up there pilgrim! 😏 ‘Frenzy’ behooves a balanced review…
  18. I’ll sign up for a glossy black carbon weave hump - if this all succeeds After some gravel corrugated roads riding my hump fell off at high speed when back on the bitumen Lucky to have noticed on filling up at next gas station so retraced my route some 15 kms & found it Guess the new carbon weave job will sort out even better than getting original fixed
  19. Sometimes out riding I’ll be exploring new roads & it just ends up in a absolute confused mess - those occasions I just turn round & go back. Even if it feels like I wasted my time I suppose I found out something - not all progress ends up going in the right direction! Sure I’m not the only one
