I would try to achieve a more forward angle of the stand legs. (Like this: / ) With this mock up the bike will pop off the stand with just an easy push. Much too easy IMHO.

Orson, I don't have much experience with the TT in Assen. Been there only a couple of times in the 80's. You could still sleep on the circuit-terrain, then. An early hotel reservation would be advisable! Here's a list of hotels in and around Assen.

I read on the German V11 Forum those 'cheap" ones discoloured quite rapidly. I don't know if you have a cheap one?
