  1. Triple clamps are the same for Marzocchi and Öhlins. I did the swap several years ago w/o problems
  2. Happened to me on my first ride after 15 years of none riding! Sting right above my left eye. I had to ride the 25 kms home with one functioning eye. I actually thought about selling the bike and buying a sportscar
  3. I believe the early öhlins don't have a hollow axle, but i'm not sure Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. I have used foam filters om my G&B and they made about 4 HP disappear. I use k&N pods now Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. If it's the hollow one you can look through it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. No, the RossoMandello red is more orange like
  7. Aaah, you're going that way too? Keep us updated!
  8. Nice bike. Congrats and have fun with it!
  9. First time I see this poll! However I miss the option "Never" (That's 35.000 kms +)
  10. Sadly, gathering dust I believe
  11. "The Canadians are invading and taking our bikes!" As a Dutchman I see a parallel with '40-45'
  12. Definitely sounds like a broken spring. Plenty of info on the forum. Not an engine-out job.
  13. Grolsch Kanon (canon) 15% ... talk about taking a hit!
  14. Very nice! I wonder if there are some more pics
  15. Hi Ben, good to see you back. I downgraded your status a long time ago, because you hadn't bee around for quite a while and there where no quizzes anymore. If you want you can get it back! How's the Griso treating you?
  16. A lot of German slang which imo doesn't translate well. Maybe a German forum member could give it a go? Luhbo?
  17. Based on the Motomania cartoons by Holger Aue. (A Guzzi rider btw) Brilliant stuff!
  18. Probably heat related? Or maybe a loose or corroded mass connection?
  19. The seats of all early red framed models V11 models are exactly the same. At least that's what the parts manual sais. Don't know for the later black framed models. As far as I can remember Corbin seats don't use the OEM cowling. Another option is Rich Maund Cycle Upholstery; he does a damn good seat conversion and can make it exactly how you want it. Higher, lower, softer, smaller, wider, you decide. He used to ride a V11 and I believe he is still a forum member. He's in Cheaspeake VA. Google his contact details.
  20. Great story! Thx for sharing. Remapping is not required. I've rode mine with K&N's and Mistral exhausts for thousands of kilometers without problems.
  21. Did you take an 1/2 inch of the rubber off? that's the easiest mod that most of us have done
  22. It was available as an accessory
  23. That looks nicely done, although I have never understood the esthetical value of (faux) carbon
  24. Typical Moto Guzzi. The Limited Edition is a success, so they produce a second run!
