  1. In light of my imminent return to the V11 Le Mans family, I've made a donation to the keeper of this most excellent forum, and encourage those of you who haven't in a while to do the same. Best wishes and good health to all of you.
  2. Hi Bob - yes we have. Looks like I've found a very nice low-mileage black Le Mans in Wisconsin, and I have a verbal agreement with the seller. So I'm all set from my end. Thanks.
  3. And if Chuck gets cold feet, I'll be the back-up!
  4. As Kevin Schwantz once said, "I used the rear brake once - I remember it well because I crashed".
  5. Says "great rear brake" - must be a Harley rider...
  6. Looks great in black - too bad he didn't get the fairing painted and installed.

    HB bags wanted

Here it is on eBay as well: https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F163932551346
  8. Just to say, I'm still looking for an 03-04 lower mileage black V11 LeMans, or Nero Corsa in the US. Would be happy to pay $5500 for the LeMans and $7500 for the Nero Corsa.
  9. Delkevic makes good quality, inexpensive carbon fiber slip-ons - I have one on my VFR800. I'm sure they have some with the same diameter pipe. The only thing is you'll have to fabricate custom bracket hangers to work with your V11. It will reduce your exhaust back pressure, so best to tune with a Power Commander or Guzzidiag.
  10. When I installed my Mistral slip ons and crossovers, I installed a pre-programmed Power Commander, my V11 Scura ran perfectly afterwards and had better acceleration - especially above 5,000 rpms
  11. Since it's really just Mistral at this point with very little competition, their prices are high, but they are well-made. Perhaps consider foregoing the next $1000 iPhone upgrade and get some nice Mistral carbon fiber slip-ons. You won't regret it.
  12. Did the Cafe Sports come with Ohlins as oem?
  13. Assuming mileage (not km) in the 15 - 25,000 range, and condition an 8 or 9 out of 10 with proper maintenance, I would think a standard '02 - '04 Le Mans would be worth $4500 - $5500. Whereas a Nero Corsa would be $6500 - $7500. I'd be happy to pay the upper end for either if in excellent condition with fork and driveshaft maintenance up to date. 14. ...just refreshing my original post - I'm still in the market for a Nero Corsa or Le Mans (preferably black) lowish mileage. Amazing how few to none came up for sale in the US in the past year!
  15. Me either Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
  16. Another beautiful LeMans, and a Scura (like I had) to boot - lucky guy! Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
  17. For sure. What year and color is your LeMans? Looking for a black one... Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
  18. I thought Nero Corsas started in '03, no? Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
  19. "02 Nero Corsa"? No fairing or Ohlins? https://phoenix.craigslist.org/evl/mcy/6980294115.html Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
  20. There is currently a 2004 Coppa Italia for sale on the Guzzi National Owners Club site for $12k. Not that he's likely to get that, but just saying... Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
  21. ...I don't think you overpaid at all. Its a great and rare bike with top components, and you can't put a price on that feeling. I've been looking for the right LeMans almost since I sold it to you. I would be happy to pay $7400 for a similar condition Nero Corsa! Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
  22. ...and I'm still in the market for a lower mileage '03 or '04 black LeMans or Nero Corsa, should anyone have any leads!
  23. Exactly, it's a matter of finding those handful of buyers. The only thing you have working against you is that 90% of American motorcyclists have no idea what a Guzzi V11 is. Thus, it will probably take longer to find a buyer. Incidentally, to my surprise, I ended up selling my Scura on eBay to a buyer on the other side of the states. Spread your net far.
  24. Having bought and sold many bikes, I can say that it really comes down to how much time you have to sell it. If you don't need the cash right away, you will eventually get close to $8k for it. I sold my Scura for $7400 with 23k miles two years ago, with virtually no spare parts and just a Carbon Mistral exhaust. But if you're in a hurry, you may have to lower your expectations a little.
  25. If it includes all the extras, it's well worth the $8k! Perhaps vtwins4life is just trying to soften you up before making you an offer...
