It says dryk ventil, ( pressure valve), wondering what purpose ?
And the sensor in the left valve cover? Same temp sensor as in the filter box on the V11.
Cheers Tom.

Hi Tom.

I don't know anything for sure, but...

In the German forum I found a number of references to the temp. sensor in the valve cover. It seems the Quota and some Californias had that as well, and it seems to be for motor temperature, perhaps one of two temperature sensors.

The pressure valve has "100 kPa" written on it. That is "only" one Bar. Where is it exactly? With that value, it can hardly be fuel pressure. As far as I know, that should be more like 3 or 4 Bar, shouldn't it?

EDIT: I think I've found the pressure thing. It looks like it is not a valve but rather a pressure sensor.

Part #14 here:

The disturbing news:

and the good news, the alternative part:

https://www.stein-dinse.com/de/search.html?grp=&searchStr=200516001

Slight price difference.... B)

The Sport 1100i manual says "Absolute pressure transducer. This transducer is powered by the electronic control centre and gives information about the absolute pressure in the air filter box. This transducer is connected to the filter box through a small pipe. Its output signal will produce a correction signal as function of the barometrical pressure".

On the V11 there is a pressure transducer built into the ECU.

Simple reason for clutch slippage. 7.12mm plates.

Sounds about right. New clutch in, connect clutch wire, ææh NO clutch. Ended up with a 3,1mm long SS rod inside the metal cylinder that pushes the rod. Yes larger clutch plates, not 100% original. But yes bike in 2gear, small plier in u joint, clutch handle in, YES.

For the sake of clarity: I gather you mean it didn't release because the new clutch is thicker, and the system didn't provide enough reach without the 3-and-a-bit extra from the spacer?
