I just found this on AliExpress:
£9.46 | Silver 3D sticker Decals Waterproof motorcycle Eagle sticker for Moto Guzzi
https://a.aliexpress.com/_Eu186zc

Available in silver, black, or gold.  Probably plastic.  I haven't  ordered one, but might be worth a try.

I don't think that's available in the US.

Almost a press fit. Need to clean off the cover and stick it in.

One more proto and I think I'll have something.

Tidy little bracket!

Of the four Eagle medallions, only the one on the alternator cover has a slight curve to it? The factory aluminum one can be bowed a bit to fit. Can yours be heated and similarly bowed?

No need to heat, it's just plastic. It will curve just fine.

What adhesive do you recommend, considering the heat cycling there along with the road spray/ leading edge location?

edit: the heat got me wondering if the bracket could be designed to hold the wiring off of the timing chest surface  . . .

High quality 3M double side. Cover is insulated with that plastic stand off.

Heat is not an issue. the PVC sleeve is more than capable of withstanding the heat. Throw a laser thermometer on that area next time you think it's hot.

After a 60 mile ride in 90ºF+ ambient heat, I found the alternator cover about 190ºF and the finning of the timing chest 225-230ºF (warmest closest to the alternator cover).
