swooshdave Posted August 26 Posted August 26 (edited) Yes, kids a twofer! We started the day at Portland Cars & Coffee. They have featured vehicles during the summer and today was Motorcycles! It had been earlier in the year previously but it always rained. So I asked to move it later in the summer. You know what happened. Yup... it rained. Luckily stopping before the event. We are trying to get as many Nortons to show up as possible, with the goal of 50. Bold. We are lucky to get a dozen. It coincided with the Cornfield Concours hosted by the Moto Guzzi club. But since I had. to leave immediately from C&C I was still on the Norton. To be fair I took the Guzzi last year. A great event with a ride, show and lunch. And yes, the corn was delicous. activpop Posted August 27 Posted August 27 (edited) I think there were only 3 Guzzis at C&C. Lots more at the Cornfield. I'm going to rattle the cage to try and get more there on Italian Day. I'll start with you @swooshdave, there's a Greenie sitting next to your Norton. Edited August 27 by activpop

Both spellings exist as legitimate words. It just depends on what was actually meant. https://www.collinsdictionary.com/dictionary/english/concourse https://www.collinsdictionary.com/dictionary/english/concours @swooshdave sounds like a great day was had.

Who knows how they spell stuff over there... But seriously the correct term for the event was Concourse.

You are aware, I hope, that the English that is spoken in Australia is the only remaining pure and unadulterated English spoken anywhere. The rest of the world just doesn't realise, because they are too used to hearing the mongrelised English that is spoken where they live. Fuckya. Edited August 29 by audiomick 1
