  1. Reason? Docc.... after 20 years have you not learned that Italian women are as cunning as they are beautiful? They need no reason... it’s part of that whole Mediterranean blood thing.. it’s part of their DNA. As a almost full blooded Italian, I can attest from personal experience the Jekyll and Hyde duality...

  3. I love this picture! Beautiful composition and exposure. Makes me want to jump in a canoe and go fishing! docc, are you back to running the flyscreen? It certainly gives your bike the “Silver Bullet” look.

  6. Well I’m out here in Pennsylvania on a wild goose chase. Apparently there is an older gentleman with a MV Agusta 750 that’s been sitting in a barn (mhmm hmm) If this is what I’m told it is, then let’s hope the engine is good. The MV i spent too much money on has a busted cam tower. Funny how the pictures showed a intact cam tower Anyway I’m out here and thought y’all would like to enjoy some sounds..

  8. A little more "used" then I was lead to believe, He made it right by refunding a good portion of the purchase price. They still are a genuine set of tubi silencers...I think if end up using them, i will have the chrome stripped and have them hard anodized black or cerekote plus lose the hangers...

  12. just don't give examples of 'other vices' my girl's response was "so the options are motorcycles.... or strip clubs?"

  13. I dunno, these Guzzis are a bit like potato chips. Tell the minister of finance you could have worse vices! Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk

  15. Middle of June, and still raining quite a bit. Good excuse to put Red back into the shop and get the new exhaust installed. Looks pretty, to my eye. I like the sound of all the exhausts I’ve heard on the V11’s, though I’ll admit I’m not loving these new Agostini’s sound as much as some others I’ve heard. Still sounds great, i just prefer the lower tone of some of the other mufflers. Also installed the agostini crossover. Many love the Stucchi, i have the mistral on Goldie, and in this case just figured I’d give this agostini x-over a whirl. a bonus of the Agostini crossover

  16. 8 weeks, 10,000 miles. I need another month and another 5k miles. Nobody tells you that when you take something out of the bucket list, you might like it. This could be a lifestyle. Travel light, travel fast. No other motorcycle I've ever owned would have been better for this trip. Yes, a touring bike would have been nice across Oklahoma and Kansas, and home across the South. But I knew that would suck, and a touring bike would only have sucked less. The rest of the time, what a gas. Wore the front tire completely bald where those 70mph sweepers are (stories to follow) I have about a te

  17. Seattle Speedo "says" he can rehab ITIs. I sent him mine, duped me for about $580. Don't send to him, he has apparently scammed quite a few folks. One guy from California sent him about 6 rare Porsche gauges. Sadly he never saw them again. (Moderators: delete if this is inappropriate - Tom).

  18. Well then, when removing the speedometer drive from the gearbox (for whatever reason), be it known that there are TWO thrust washers. The one shown above and the second I was lucky enough to find three years later hugging the magnetic drain plug . . .
