  5. Managed to get down and pick up the springs today. Look like springs... We are two weeks away from final exams and things are nuts here at work. Probably aren't going to do any real testing before Xmas break. Will report as info is acquired... slainte, Rj
  6. Springs are sitting just across the border, was supposed to run down and pick them up Saturday but didn't get down. One note of feedback for RaceTech - they shipped to my Canadian addy by accident the first time (UPS screws us with a $50 surcharge if package crosses a border) so when I told them they made a mistake and I wasn't going to accept the delivery, they immediately overnighted a second pair springs to my US addy. The second package arrived before the first. I hope I am as happy with the springs as I have been with the company. I have always thought the true measure of a company was what they do when something goes wrong. updates to follow... Rj

  14. Someone has obviously installed some Lucas Triumph parts - bloody thing thinks it's British! Same thing happened when I parked too close to my Triumph... two days later... oil drips! Rj

  19. Like Steve, also went to EBC pads in the back - verify all his statements! Transformed the rear brake, most noticable with passenger, when you need it. Rj
  20. There is a 5th and rarely used option... rinse bike with gasoline, dry with match. Just an option... Rj
  21. Stock battery is a gell cell. As Jaap says, these are the only ones that can be mounted sideways, and you must replace with same. Rj
  22. In my case, thought of that - checked it this summer on a long trip with several other bikes of varrying manufacturers. Pretty close... Rj
