  1. Just not interested in a cruiser, at least not now. If I did it would be a Harley, not because I like them but because I'd want the most authentic (and probably uncomfortable) cruiser ever made. I have been eyeing some Hinckley Triples. https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/1218133585033809/
  2. I apologize for the delays. Luckily I haven't committed to a delivery date yet. I've been busy with the sale of my 850-T (which should finally go out the door tomorrow) and now I'm scheming on buying something else. I had planned on using the bike funds to front the plates so we'll see how things go. I've also been spending a lot of time on my much neglected (and let's be honest, highly abused) Norton.
  3. Without a doubt, but with all things there's a cost/value question. The question would be what else could I spend the $700+ on as the stock pump probably won't fail. So it comes down to your priorities and funding levels.
  4. Raped? Does supply and demand go out the window just because it's a vehicle? We blame the dealers? If the cars (or bikes) don't sell because of dealer markup then they will lower the markup. They aren't in the business of running a parking lot.
  5. Noted although I'm still way too young for a cruiser. Sport Touring for me at the least. But what I'm more concerned about is the lack of time I have to actually get out of the house for long rides. I'm having lunch with a friend today. I may try to talk him out of one of his bikes. Stay tuned. If I get the one I want from him y'all will be pleasantly surprised.
  6. That’s right where I’ve seen most ST3s priced. i didn’t want to be too prescriptive with what I’m looking for so I didn’t limit people. You know I have a Greenie so pretty much the the epitome of good taste and humbleness. Other than the price point I wanted to be open. The odds of a Japanese bike catching my fancy is low but you never know, maybe someone has an RC30 they want to get rid of badly.
  7. ST3s are a bit out of my price range unless you're highly motivated. If I was smart I would stick with the 2v Ducatis unless you convince me otherwise. My next door neighbor has a beautiful ST3. I think I've seen him ride in once in 6 years. If that thing has 1000 miles on it I'd be shocked. Maybe he rode it more in the past?
  8. Did I mention my budget is around $2500? Which is ST2 or Grand Canyon range.
  9. So I sold my 850-T, it's still here as the wire transfer finally cleared after a couple weeks. I expect it to vacate the garage shortly and be on it's way to Australia. As all of you know I now have to get another bike. If you just leave that lump in your account it magically withers away and you have not much to show for it. I don't need another V11 Sport. But I do need something interesting. I spotted a yellow Ducati ST2 on Craigslist but it sold before I got my money from the other bike. Do I need a ST2? Not really. But a Ducati for $2500 is a lot of bike for the money. There's a Cagiva Grand Canyon about 6 hrs away. Really nice looking bike. But I really don't need a SUV bike. I'd never go off road. But I guess that's like most SUVs... I could get a Monster but that's a little too close to a V11 Sport. I could try to hold onto the money and when I sell another bike (the Ducati 860GT is next up) take a run at trying to get a 1977 Lemans MkI project I know about. What would you do?
  10. I know there are a bunch of Ducatis listed. I assume they used similar ECUs to the Guzzis? https://www.von-der-salierburg.de/download/GuzziDiag/ I see the 16M listed but does anyone know if the 16M for the ST2 is the same as the one listed? @Meinolf ? 16M 748 916S V1.10
  11. Do you have to use the new pump with the gear drive? Or is it an optional extra?
  12. Heard an interesting story about MI last weekend. Apparently Dave sold the business to a lady who used the money from an accident settlement to buy MI. She was in a bad crash and they had to rebuild most of her. Anyways, after she bought MI she was working, turned around or something and her pelvis fell apart. She went to the ground and that was it. That killed the business. Not sure why she didn't resell it although who would want a Guzzi dealership?
  13. https://kojaycat.co.uk/epages/950000457.mobile/en_GB/?ObjectPath=/Shops/950000457/Products/150-3W-BLK-MAL&ViewAction=ViewProduct Nice find. I think that’s it. I need to compare to the Casper one.
  14. If you want pegs that are nearly identical to the stock ones try these. They fit a red frame perfectly. https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F223399494278
  15. My buddy shot a lot more video. Make sure you check it out.
  16. I didn't like many of the bikes this year. The Triumph as :46 was very well done. Very. The lightly modified Norton at :54 was also tidy.
  17. Are are you sure that's the right connector? I couldn't get to the site. It was a redirect and then something about a Flash install. Looked sketchy as hell.
  18. Reminds me too much of a mid-80s Mexican vampire movie.
  19. I should probably recheck my TPS and when I do I'll video it. Can't promise how soon I will get to it. I assume you have the proper cable?
  20. I didn't freak out until I was at 17v+ while riding.
  21. I know very little about metallurgy but there is no way I’d use aluminum for a clutch pushrod. I know they are used for engine pushrods but those are larger diameter tubes and capped. The weight difference between steel an aluminum is about the same as the order of fries you had for lunch.
  22. Ya'll don't park your prized possessions in air conditioned garages?
