  1. Bath day for the ladies.
  2. I'm assuming you work up a new map for it as well?
  3. Stumble after coming off of idle sounds like fuel issue.
  4. He states on the site that he has direct fit kits for the V11. Makes me want to find another one just to do this to.
  5. Reserved our room before we left last year.

  7. Yep, I'm on the 939 board. I wound up putting bar end mirrors on and absolutely love them. No arms blocking the view and zero vibrations.

  10. Like new Corbin Gunfighter and Lady saddle with backrest for Moto Guzzi V7 and V7 II . New price on Corbin web site is $946. https://www.corbin.com/motoguzzi/mgv7sgl.shtml Shoot me some offers if you're interested.
  11. She's starting to get sorted out. Plugged the mirror mount holes in the fairing and went to a neat set of bar ends. Like them so much I'm thinking about putting some on the Coppa. Used the cheapo Amazon wraparound fork mount signals. Double sided mounting tape with 1/2" aluminum angle, just below the headlights. Baffles in the pipes, didn't make them much quieter but they have a deeper burble. I've never been a big fan of traction control, I've always thought you should hone skills the old fashion way. I still think that but if you know how to ride well without it it's a pure joy when you put the two together and ride with it. And quickshifters are awesome

  13. Tell me more, wasn't aware of this.
  14. ...it will.
  15. I want one.
  16. What is that because I want one.
  17. Possibly a problem with the alternator. Stator may be getting ready to let go or the rotor magnet is weak. Also look for any burning or corrosion at alternator to regulator connector. Check the resistance across all of the wires with respect to each other at the connector from the alternator. It should be nearly the same. An additional test is to check the AC voltage at each wire with respect to ground when the bike is running. It should be similar for each. I'm not sure what the actual voltage number is on our alternators but Docc probably knows.
  18. While not a Guzzi, the description nails Italian V's: "I’ve recently grown fonder of Italian Vees, and the 900 motor is the star of the show for me. While the Americans seem to be chasing the elusive power curve of a Caterpillar dump truck and the Japanese are hunting some kind of 20,000 rpm torque-free dream, the Italians are developing engines that punch you in the face with power at a useable rpm, and breathe deep enough that you don’t need 15 gear ratios to keep the bike in the powerband. The Dorso’s 900 V-Twin delivers a perfect example of a wide and smooth—but not bland—power curve that has a useful, enjoyable hit down low but carries you long through the shift point." https://www.citybike.com/bikes/aprilia-dorsoduro-900-review/
  19. Keihin carbs?
  20. I'm planning on coming but for a 6 1/2 hour ride I'll probably wimp out and bring the Norge.
  21. The V7 is a little jewel. Light, handling is superb, you just notice it running out of a little oomph when you up to speed or accelerating for passing.
  22. Needs mirrors and front signals. Going with bar end mirrors and led signals above the running lights. Ordered passenger pegs mounts so Lisa can ride along.
