Couple years ago I rode down with my father and my two sons to Birmingham Al. Although I had been to Barber a half dozen times, watching Landon’s (5 at the time) react to this museum with motorcycles displayed like art was priceless. His first reaction was pure excitement, amazement and passion. For the following hour we tried to keep him from running through the museum screaming at us to look at the many motorcycles on display. It’s the passion that true art can extract that makes the difference to me. Not many places do it better than Barber Museum. Lastly, of course I took their picture next to a MGS-01.

I agree completely with one addition, Josh Herrin in 3rd, he has quite a podium streak going. -

For what it’s worth, I rode behind this V7 at the KSR. Josh could still get his old Tonti framed Guzzi, which is in excellent mechanical original spec condition (read not perfect aesthetically) to haul @ss with a respectable pace. Carburetors, drum front brakes and all.

While on a ride during the New Cumberland WV MGNOC National Rally back in maybe 05-ish. We had to fill up in BFE at a little mom & pop store, another rider told me that it takes a few gallons of gas to transition from Premium to regular within the pump. So if true, you would only be getting very little premium gas filling a 5gal tank that previously just ran 87. Again, I can't verify if true, but clearly octane levels fluctuate regardless of what you select on the pump from area and vendor.

AudioMick- My father has owned the Kawasaki Z900 and currently owns the V7 850. Both bikes are lookers, the Kawi is another level of refinement and power. The v7 is still a nice bike, underpowered but nice. I would own both. I have a buddies that own 4 different V85TT's and they seem to swear by them for traveling.

That bike is giving me cold sweats thinking about it. Beautiful ride that looks sorted out from the pictures and descriptions and yes should be owned by a member here. CLEAN
