After some research, these seem like an alternative, mounted under the top triple tree, unlike the stock bars, atop. I realize this would diminish the 2.75" lift. I'll have to measure this distance, to see just how much is lost. and then there is the issue with the lines…

  5. Yup, the forum speaks the truth, crankcase vent tube! For being a vent hose, it sured spewed a lot of oil, whats a mess! Pricing seems to be $70 at MGC or about $30 using a heater core hose at an auto parts store.
  6. This oil leak won't stop. If I look up in there close enough, there is what I believe to be an Allen screw with no possible way to tighten it as it is blocked. Although I'm not sure if this would help anyway. I'm dreading to admit it, but I think it may be the more difficult fix for this one!

  8. Okay, okay so I'm not the only one. I admit, that makes me feel better about it. So I test rode it today, no more seal leaks! Now, I'll adjust the clickers a bit, I'd like it a bit more soft.
  9. UGH! I was so excited that my new seal arrived yesterday I assembled it in my pajamas at about 9 at night. I woke up this morning only to discover I forgot the dust seal. It's a good thing this is an easy task, but seriously!

  13. I recently tightened the two lower trans bolts when I discovered some oil in the area; they were surprisingly loose. I do not want to do this, well documented thanks to @Scud, repair.
  14. Rumor has it @docc is barring all of the Sport owners on the forum for not actually owning a true Le Mans.
  15. Are these V11 Sport variants, also truly titled Le Mans?
  16. Marzocchi, yes. @bbolesaz I did not. I had to use that technique on a recent fork rebuild on my 1982 GL500. For the V11, I merely laid the fork on the bench, and it easily came out using an allen-wrench and an extension for leverage.
  17. @bbolesaz see #11 thread post, where I confirm, yes to a DIY repair. In retrospect, it's rather easy, no special tools required.
