exploded? you just tearing it apart or did something drastic happen?
-
Yeah , and THEN they become collectible, like the 1000S , can't get rid of them > got rid of them > can't find 'em! n_s_S!

Today, the desert felt it's own sand, the heart of the brightest competitor laid still but his rally raid spirit envelops us all. Life IS the Dakar.

Jim, what's this about ? MGS + Guzzi Girls - you actually getting one?!
-
Pete, Pete, Pete - how many times have you tried to take THAT bolt out? Each time I think you live the book cover to cover without knowing it, as a mechanic (you are a mechanic right? ) you obviously know about sequences. As always it;w what YOU bring to the book (or movie), I was ready at the time to really dedicate myself to it all. Why did you go back to it? But hey, we just like the same bikes, I can live with that.

I like the clever scripting, & comedic style of the choreography, it's good when producers can do a tongue in cheek production..err..what? they were beeing serious?!! !!!

Yeah , those crazy Austrians, they make Red Bull, KTMs & PEZ!

I am just blown away by the www.thebournesupremacy.com website, helps if you have broadband I guess. Now...if they had a Guzzi in the film....

Bruce, I'll also have to vote for Z.A.M.M - excellent - the concept of quality as an 'event' , as Guzzi riders, I think we do this all the time. I read it over 7 months while fully restoring a 1977 Ducati 900SS - along with listening to Luka Bloom's 'Acoustic Motorbike' album - what a great time in my life. peace out (in!) n_s_S!

BUT - you are hear typing this - & we are grateful for that. On a ridiculous side note, (just minutes ago) a big samoan that was chased by cops, jumped over a fence & crash landed on the bonnet of my 25 year old Alfa GTV, a HUGE dent & blood everywhere starts my new year with a somewhat ...well let's say...PISSED OFF attitude. BUT - I am here writing this - & we are grateful for that. Take it easy... n_s_S!

I got the DVD sent to me & the sound is perfecto - the one I downloaded had the scratchy voiceover. I am in the process of ripping the DVD, taking the Ads out & putting some more stuff to a new DVD. Can let you know , how it goes. n_s_S!

Fast Paul, Do you mean a 'different' type of noise? or a more louder dry clutch type of noise? or something else? Thanks, n_s_S!

Why would a dealer shoot himself in the foot ?
not_scooter_Scura! replied to frogonwheels's topic in Travel & dealers
that's the most important part - the rest is not motorcycling - enjoy your bike friend. -
what would you like to know? It does quicken the sterring, for me it also brought in a pronounced weave going in a relaxed straight line (due to a more worn in front tyre compared to back) it would seem. Handling & corner holding still excellent. Alternative is 'proper' clip ons with forks pushed back up, if you want the race crouch without altering geometry too much. I like it lower more often than not - when not doing l o n g distances. Conversely, going back up allowed me to ease off on the steering dampener, so you don't 'fight' the steering as much. If you want specifics , just let me know. love the Scura! n_s_S!

Scura + Remus GP pipes = most glorious deep rumble (this side of a worked V8). Because the note is so deep, it does'nt seem to offend. On the Staintune question - they are VERY well made, last longer than most bikes, are louder than the Remus cans (& more raspy) BUT they are not light in the stainless steel trim, never ever. Regards, n_s_S!
-
Thanks Jan, Yes, definately more worn out, (though not overworn). I guess it's time to replace to keep it in step with the back. Thanks again. n_s_S.

I notice a slow but constant 'weave' effect when just going straight & at a relaxed pace. Increasing steering dampening obviously lessens this sensation. (hands off slowing down REALLY makes sure i'm not imagining this! ) I never really noticed it on my Daytona 1000, so was wondering: Is this notmal for these beasts or should I be cheacking something real soon? Thanking you, not_scooter_Scura!

yeah, that's it I reckon. I got a V11 & KTM Duke - it seems like a perfect stable for now. I tried to be a one-bike-bloke ...did'nt work out...gladly

sorry, I was one of the guys who suggested the Micro Swirl product. What can I say - it works for me - it goes on does it's job for a few days at a time, then comes off until needed again. I would have gladly sent you a foot lengths worth. ask next time for photos, tests, specifics, whatever. again ...apologies....

Dear F344, I am looking at buying Rich's seat - did you get yours modified, compared to say me ordering directly from Australia. If I said - make one up like 'this' - will they know what I'm talking about. Yeah - that material even in the pictures gets the thumbs up & will suit the Scura carbon touches Thanks for the pics & the advise.
