  1. The sheer fact that you posted a picture of a Hose clamp is just funny to me you silly englesh conniggets
  2. I have no idea what a Rover is, Range Rover? Land Rover? is it something that has ever set foot in the deviant colonies?
  3. God I thought I was crazy I guess I should ride down to Iowa (good tail wind, Iowa Sucks) we could ride together I do the same thing Check that I'm in 6th its like I know I'm in 6th instictually but I didn't keep a count when I get onto the freeway but even when I do keep count I try to upshift 6th and you can tell more or less that you are in 6th without counting or knowing "for sure" I've done that on every bike I've ridden and sometimes I almost look around to make sure no one noticed that I'm a dumbass but then feel even dumber because if anyone was watching me no one would know if you were really shifting gears or not unless they were on the back.
  4. Wow good god I feel bad for all of you I got my Guzzi practically Brand New for $6,900. New they are $11-$12,000 USD and $13-$14,000 USD for the fancy ones like the Coppa or the Cafe.
  5. Well I hope you don't have any "wireless" options on your guzzi then, BUT if you do you'd better post them on here with pics.
  6. yeah I thought it was more of using a Screw driver as a chisel or a Socket wrench as a "loosening" device IE Hammer. Or your Thumb as a instrument of exact measurements.
  7. Well the fading or just plain overly glossy is the main reason I'm looking at the Ti line should hold up well be nice and light, I am thinking there isn't much of a bonus over the Alum Just a looks thing but hopefully Ti's just won't scratch or dent as easy nor hopefully get brittle or corode from all the wonderful salt on the MN roads. If I'm out of my mind and making no sense let me know Maybe I'll save some money with the alum and pick up a PCIII at the same time Nothing like going broke saving money.
  8. Those would be really nice if they weren't so damn expensive I'm still looking at the Mistrals I'll be putting things off for a month or so tho until I'm sure I can't get my top choices, Oh btw I talked to FBF and I guess they said they "never" produced the Ti's but I'm confused why they have them on the site must just be to see if there was any interest in them., they only sell the carbons. and the crossover is about 6weeks away from being available again. I came across these Pipes that I've been talking about and they appear to be a good deal Tax free to states!!!!!!!! Shipping aprox 70 Euro for a pair of silencers. what does Homo'd mean?
  9. yeah I have checked the exchange rate and even WITH the outragous shipping at 70 euro its still cheaper than anything I've found in the states by about $200 so right now its the front runner.
  10. Well Yeah when you speak with use such interesting slang as bullocks and bloody and sometimes sound like a pikey it makes it not so easy, You know the states has an area like that as well its called "the deep south" or the axis of evil texas, tenn, louis, maybe a few others but they are the big offenders. dedol? so thats like Snap! I'm going to have to start talking Hip hop just so I can throw the euro union on this board for a loop Snap for shizzoole bizzoles.
  11. I think I'm going to go with the Mistral Ti rounds from TLM I just need to hear back from MPH and I sent an email to someone else too in the states(I forget right now hmm) and check with thier prices but If I remember from the end of last season I think I'll be able to get the Ti rounds and 2 carbon mirrors all shipped for $770, Not to get off topic but could someone give me a quick response about these carbon mirrors? are they any good? eliminate more vibes? show more than your shoulders? I'd love to hear sound files of a couple good exhaust I've only heard the Quatd's and I wasn't too impressed maybe something is lost in the file recording. From what I read on the Racecos so far they are not louder than stock maybe just a little bit but not like an actual race setup.
  12. MAN guzzi ppl are picky I either have a well setup guzzi from the previous owner or I don't know what I'm looking for, Because with the 4 other bikes I've ridden somewhat recently, a 98 Suz Bandit, 03' gixxer 600, 03 Triumph RS, My ole 01 Marauder The Goose is such a nicer ride not as tight as the gix not as unforgiving as the marauder(it was bad) and not as loose as some others I've sat on ya know the cush bikes I can't see any reason to change out the rear shock. The fronts maybe but the Marz are still better than most (even tho mine leaked and cost me $300 to fix). I guess its got to be chalked up to "there is always something better" But I like what I got. Even the Bitubo Damper appears to work better than the gixxer
  13. what are you talking about? they are playin "don't drop the ball" I've been watching it for hours, I swear one of em gonna F up soon!
  14. what the hell is a dodel?
  15. It figures That so far my top 3 fav's are all discontinued MG ti's, FBF Ti's and the Leo Vinci Ti's alls I got left is the Mistrals I know there are others but I want something with a rep and following among guzzist. Not just the cheapest or the most expensive. I have some Good news out of all of this, I can go down the street (about 10 miles) to Manely cycle and have my bike mapped and dyno'd So there is some good news for me appearing to be All alone in MN.
  16. I see a Green Guzzi V11 nekkid with stupid stickers on Ebay BUT it has Termignoni Pipes I've tried looking for these b4 but it must be a custom job. anyone know anything about these pipes I know they make things for ducati I don't like the look of the ones on the green guzzi but if they had others... We should just upgrade the exhaust FAQ I think one or two of the links don't work anymore and some places have changed what they make or don't make.
  17. So can I get them without the VAT? since I would be ordering them from outside of europe or does that not matter, and if that is true then why even advertise a price then the VAT price. so confusing.
  18. and what exactly is VAT added to everything overseas I don't get it? some kind of tax or is it shipping but that wouldn't seem right.
  19. there are many options on this FAQ http://www.v11lemans.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=501 AS for me I've contacted everyone under the SUN the MG ti's are currently MIA, Funny your dealer "sniffed" at the idea of mistral since the MG Ti's are made by Mistral. I was the one that asked about the "itialian for pipes" because I didn't see what they were called but they are DAMN expensive with the exchange. I inquired with my local dealership about the MG ti's and he said with the price increase he could reserve me a set to be produced (TBA) and they would cost me an easy 1,200 a HUGE jump over the 900 they were. I looked into FBF because everyone said they were LOUD but they no longer make the Ti's (so I hear) and I get good responses about the M4's but I'd almost rather have something itialian but the M4's are in the maby column, I've talked with Galeseti and they want me to speka itialian anyone know the cost on these bad boys the high mount ones look super sweet. Other than that I'm lost I like the darker Titanium look of the MG's and haven't seen ones that compare but the Mistral ovals come close but at the same price as the Ti kit was and you don't get them high mount or a CDI which means you then need a PCIII for sure. I guess someone do the impossible and tell me what I should do I only have aprox 500-800 to spend I'll go as high as $1,000 if its really worth it but thats with shipping included. I just feel lost running around in circles the last few weeks but I still love my goose I just want it to have a louder Honk. oh and no flat spot
  20. Hmm, what about Yugo? now that was a quality car just Cuba or some third world countires can't be wrong
  21. Maybe you should send them a letter with some schematics telling them how easy it would be and Maybe, Maybe luigi will look into it. If he can find his reading glasses that is. or have someone tell ghezzi about your idear and see if it has wings.
  22. This doesn't look like no toy to me, and you can find spares at ANY local auto parts store Also like the old guzzi's its an Auto (2speed auto anyway) so you can haul ass AND eat your ice cream cone at the same time.
  23. but was it fast? its a given that it was very unique maybe ahead of its time(something not heard very often around guzzi) The price seems very high but most certiantly a peice of history.
  24. I have mine cranked pretty low so I hope I am fine I don't have the roads around to even need one. my tires are only worn out in the middle I wish I had better roads but the closest place I have seen some nice roads is an hour drive away, then to drive on the twisties of such low angles no one would be impressed. but the scenery is nice and I'm gonna go there once the season starts up anywho Anyone know of anywhere in the twin cities area?? neone? I doubt it but I long for the roads you have a plenty in cali and most of europe.
