  1. Do the stock ones really go bad that fast? or are ppl just wanting something different? as in buying shoes you don't need but they look good?
  2. Italy makes wine? no way get out! I thought all the good wines were from California? oh and oregon can come too cause I'm from there.
  3. now I have to come up with something good to send you, I have a couple moto guzzi patches I came across. I'll see if I can get you something with meaning. Keep up the good work over there in france because youre the first frenchman I've heard of that Doesn't hate America. I'll find sumptin good.
  4. Funny thing, I haven't met someone with a Guzzi that didn't have plans for it. I know I do. as most of you also know because I constantly ask stupid questions.

    Wet Rosso

I'm sure the list of chicks you "wouldn't do" is a lot lot shorter than the "do" category tex.

    Wet Rosso

I have a pressure washer at work I use to get the grime off the engine casing and the wheel's sometimes the tank(works great) but I stay clear of the forks driveshaft and the electronics to be safe. I wash everything else with soft sponge or a clean towel. let drip dry a breif min then towel it off, Keeps'er lookin purdy for a good 2 weeks at least without driving it in any rain or wet conditions. pressure washer can be friend just have to use it wisely.
  7. that is a little rediculous. but it just goes to show you. IF you have the money someone has the means Nothing is impossible. I was at a Porche day down at the local porche dealership and saw a 914, 944 I forget more that style of the front engine porche, Well it had a 450something big block with a massive blower on the top. I think I have a pic somewhere lemme see if I can find one for us all to scoff at.
  8. that would be marvelous if they brought back a version of the ole V8 racer, Super sweet, but the chances of that happenin? I'm sure I'll be knighted first.
  9. after reading all this its not exactly what I wanted to hear, I may have to take my tank off, Again in order to run the oil breather and put the air sensor in a good place. dang it. anyway this bike seems to much more simplistic in parts but yet for some reason so much harder to work on than my previous bike dunno suzukis must be cake. damn luigi
  10. I read some of that ECU thread, I skimmed over it, well I really didn't read it tho I think I have some replies towards the end its sometimes hard to get the right answers because they are so spread out on a thread. ANYway thanks for the condensed version I will just look at getting the Mistrals stucchi and the PCIII with a premade map somewhere that I can just plug and play I really don't care so much about the higher performance I just want a better looks with more sound if possible its why I'm all about the MG ti's if I can get them. "loud pipes save lives" but I think they just turn heads. Oh and to remove that power dip is a good thing too but just a bonus to me
  11. that was something that I was thinking about after I get my exhaust set up will I ever need to change the map or tune it somehow? I heard from my dealership that they can remap the ECU for me, they wanted to sell me the new exhaust cans for my left leg and half my right arm but they seemed to have the means. So what I am getting at if I have it remapped then I won't need a PCIII? but if I get a PCIII I can tune it myself? so may be the same cost unless the dealer pads the bill(I know they never do that ) I have no real experience with any of this I feel lost just talking about it.
  12. I saw one on the german ebay site for 29 euros? 29, or 39 either way not a bad price I'm fine with my alum one or I'd have bought it and not told you about it.
  13. I hope its all for the best, they need brand recognition again either by getting it on the track or through advertising if they can't get thier bikes out there no one will buy them, just my
  14. does anyone have any experience with the Scarichi pipes? I can't figure out if thats even what they are called? maybe means something else. I think thats what they are called tho?? I saw them on rossopuro sponsor site they loook very very nice but I know nothing about them I don't even understand what is says next to the exhaust for a description. any help? anyone?
  15. someone that speaks itialian or whatever it is they speak, should tell them to whip together one of those carbon fiber tank pads to replace the vinyl foam rubber one on the older model sports, I'd buy one dang it.
  16. yeah I knew they wouldn't last long and I've been out and about so much I'll either wait for some to come up that might be easier for me to work with OR I will just get the mistral ti's since FBF sounds like they will no longer be making them.
  17. anyone know anything about Scarichi pipes? I see them available from one of those sponsors and they look real nice but I've never heard of em, or anything about them. and I can't read I-tie

    Am I crazy?

thats why you can add a new exhaust can, take off the electronics and show up at just about any track and if you know what you're doing, you could win. Every privateers dream bike. although insurance high, Tickets many, and possibility of sudden death more likely than most.

    MSG\01...When?

you poor californian bastards I swear they don't let you have any fun there, they can't ship cigars to you they make it hard to get exhaust to make emissions and they are overly serious about it. I don't think a motorcycle with a striaght pipe off the header puts out as much pollutants as a honda hybrid. I COULD be wrong but come on ease up cali. Someone write a letter to the arnold put in $10 tell him make it happen.
  20. its supposed to he in the high 50's here so I'm outtie, As for some ppl on this forum
  21. Fast By Ferracci has a nice looking set of Ti's ovals I'm thinking of getting if the MG's don't come back anytime soon. They are $689, I would get the mistral or so forth but the exchange rate is killing the US, stupid government issues. and I saw a really nice set on teo lamers but good god they are twice as expensive with the exhance. Oh well I've heard you get what you pay for but I'm not that rich.

    MSG\01...When?

yeah I kinda hijacked it and killed the convo I have to stop that, Sorry to all this offends strikes again
  23. I guess so? I mean I didn't think about that one I just yanked the hose out. oh well at least I wash it alot. ya know these bikes have a lot of quirks to work out. more than I a reckoned. but I still think its worth it if it goes 100k more than I can say for a whole lotta bikes.
  24. youre crazy why didn't you just go out and get a Lemans in the first place if that is what you are trying to build? you got one heck of a hobby goin there. but I'm not one to talk about that

    Breva in UK May

OH I want a griso! let me know the aprox cost of one of those puppys and I'll dream about it for awhile and I'll ponder getting a MV agusta for a couple more franks. Maybe I should just start stealing all the bikes I want, Or I'll never get to ride them all.
