In a word, Roadcrafter! I have crash experience and it saved me from serious road rash and maybe worse. I believe they have the best armor, TF something..it's soft until impact then indestructible. but yeah, an airbag vest would be even better.

I used some extensions like these, sorry tho I think they were hand made by a friend.

A hose clamp can secure the filter from unscrewing. Seen here in a flat sump but the principle can be applied to your hanging oil filter.

The seat doesn't fit very well.. I WONDER WHY IT HAS SO FEW MILES. Did this model have the single plate exploding clutch?

Ok, I didn't notice because my flux brazing rod have the flux on the outside of the rod, more visible. and yeah, that's some pretty looking work.

I'm a newby to welding/brazing.. What is meant by in line fluxer? I'm surprised he doesn't tack the other side and the other end of the pipe. How is the pipe held in place before you start and while heating part of it?

My top 3 would be aV11 sport greenie, a later V11 sport black or the maroon tank, I think they had one in 03-04. And then a Nero Corsa

Got pics? How about a video so we can hear the knocking? Maybe it's just a rattle? Normally a Guzzi big twin goes a lot more miles than yours without problems. Was it run with no oil or something?

Other way around for me, the tank looks fine but the motor too puny to look fast.. 🙂 your project is looking good, you will be adding shocks to the rear, right?

As too relays, the factory stock Siemens relay were notoriously bad. If still in there replace them all. A good source in the states is dpguzzi.com. (Pyro Dan)

Looks real nice.. but gotta wonder what the designer was thinking with the red pork chops.. with out a red frame they look out of place.. I have a pair from a Centauro that look like polished aluminum, they would match the tank nicely... I'll make you a good deal on them if interested but shipping from the States will probably be around $60-80US dollars. Just a thought.

Very sad. Could he have gotten a flat tire? Blow out? That happened to me a few weeks ago going 40mph on my trail 90.. up at the lake where I grew up not wearing any gear so I wasn't this time. Coulda been a lot worse.
